Founded north of Seattle, with several years brewing in Portland, evenstar is heavily influenced by the lovely house filled city that was their home for five years, San Francisco <3 though they may be physically away from the Bay and the West Coast, music keeps them connected

NoFOMO is an inclusive monthly event produced by a queer collective dedicated to Portland's homegrown cosmic dance music sounds.

s O F T P E A K s dove ears first into the rave scene in 2013 - first and foremost as a dancer known for wild outfits and owning the dance floor. More recently, she has evolved into a gifted DJ with diverse music taste and intuitive mixing skills.

 Landing in the Pacific Northwest in 2016, she danced her way into the hearts of Portland’s top party crew’s. Noting the city as being one of the “best incubators ever,” the region is full of talent that has nourished her ears and in turn, given her space to develop her own artistic abilities. During her time there, she worked hard to set down roots with dark, sexy beats that thump until the morning light sparkles and blossoms into soft ambient sounds with moody techno undertones. 

Her eclectic taste and sense of style derive from following the music that has changed her life. She has built connections with west coast party legends who have nurtured and supported her journey to the decks and for them, she has the utmost gratitude and respect. By trusting her instincts and inner ear, she has had the privilege to meet many magical people and cultivate meaningful experiences while on her quest for the best sounds, dance floors and parties. 

Although still a newcomer to party curation and creation,                        
s O F T P E A K s approaches mixing with an innate vocabulary of skill and style. Her sound spans many genres including lush, seductive techno, percussive electro, mystic DnB, and minimal tribal beats that just make you want to dance.
