An ode to Brazilian jazz and guitar music of decades past, 'Morning Samba's glossy, bouncy reimagining of lo-fi hiphop shows the heights the genre can reach when put in the right hands. 'Morning Samba' follows on from the duo’s sultry single Perseverance.

For his new project on Melting Pot Music, Lofi heavyweight Mr. Käfer has teamed up with Austrian musician YAN NAY. His lush shimmery guitar excursions are adding a new flavor to Käfer's laidback sound. ‘Mountain Views’ is the first single. Mr. Käfer was born in Salzburg to an Austrian mother and an Algerian father. Today he lives in Cologne. In his music he fuses influences from Boom-Bap to Jazz to traditional North-African music.

Hot off the press, Danny James’ debut full length album “Heatwave” is warming our hearts with groovy neo-soul and r&b that we all need in our lives.  Co-produced with long time friend and collaborator Es-k, a legendary beat maker in his own right, the two have delivered an album that’s a breath of fresh air; a revelation in the weight of lightness.  Split equally between instrumental grooves and the buttery vocals of James and his friends Maari and Stephanie Wilson. Sprinkle on top a little extra sweetness with ultra smooth guitar licks by Max Bronstein-Paritz (aka Steen) and soulful trumpet by John Culbreth. The whole crew showed up on “Heatwave”, a debut album baked to perfection.

Toonorth - Something About You (feat. slowya.roll)

This is my latest EP called Ataraxia. Ataraxia is a Greek term first used in Ancient Greek philosophy by Pyrrho and subsequently Epicurus and the Stoics for a lucid state of robust equanimity characterized by ongoing freedom from distress and worry.” So I have tried to capture this feeling in these 3 songs, as an escape from my everyday stress. So the best way to enjoy this EP is to sit back, relax, drink something good, close your eyes and just drift away for a couple of minutes.
