Edward Padge is a Burmese-born, Bangkok-based DJ, producer, and sound designer whose work bridges cultural heritage with forward-looking electronic innovation. Emerging from Myanmar and evolving within Thailand’s thriving underground, Edward’s music is rooted in breakbeat, IDM, UK garage, experimental sound design, and minimal drum & bass.
As a DJ, Edward is known for sets that balance energy and precision with unpredictability, creating journeys that move both the body and the mind. His sound thrives on contrasts blending heavy bass-driven rhythms with intricate textures, moments of tension with release, and dance-floor energy with cinematic atmosphere.
Expanding beyond his core DJ identity, Edward also performs and produces under his darker, more experimental alias illstprjct. Where Edward Padge focuses on groove and connection, illstprjct dives into raw exploration: fractured beats, industrial tones, dissonant soundscapes, and unsettling ambience. It is a project designed to challenge boundaries, inviting listeners into a shadowed, experimental sonic world.
