I got inspired to plug in my electric guitar for the first time in a while and play around with reverb and delay. While having fun playing random chord progressions using the circle of fifths as a cheat sheet  I randomly thought about doing a Kid Cudi cover. I found the chords and bpm pretty easily online, and then with that info I made up my own version. The vocals and mixes are rough, but this was good practice and is inspiring me to do more covers, and to keep exploring reverb and delay and writing my own music on the guitar.

This song is an inspiring and uplifting collaboration between artist Taylor Liston and producer “Concentrated Vapor”(Jesse Schofield). Inspired by the beautiful wild mystery of nature, and the journey through the duality of life. 

It was recorded in October 2021. The vocals were never mixed and mastered, but this is a song that keeps coming back to me so I decided to finally release it May 2024 on SoundCloud. I’ll put it on all platforms when I can get it professionally engineered. This track means a lot to me and I hope it can bring you some of the same deep feelings it has brought me over the years! :)

Lighter Than a Feather

This Song was inspired by the winters of the Western Pennsylvania forests ❄️🌳 I noticed that so many people in my town were complaining about our winters, about the cold, and about the snow. I was working in a grocery store at the time and every day, without fail, I had customers complaining about the weather. Then I would get home and go hike into the beautiful snow covered forest! It was always a magical feeling- filled my soul with peace, stillness, awe, wonder, and adventure. I wish I could share some of this magic I see in it with the world 🌎 “Some people may never see…” but I’d love to share anyways in hopes that more people can enjoy the magic of winter- the magic of nature 🌌

I came upstairs at 9 AM and she was confused why I was still awake and I told her I had a surprise for her and it brought tears of joy to hear eyes.
