9000 has been deeply embedded in the fabric of the global club scene since the mid-80s. At a remarkably young age, he found himself drawn to London’s vibrant nightlife, frequenting iconic spots like the Electric Ballroom and the Kit Cat Club in Westbourne Grove. These formative experiences laid the foundation for his eclectic musical tastes and relentless pursuit of sonic exploration.

Since 1991, 9000 has been a key figure in the nightlife of Berlin. His wide-ranging musical spectrum moves fluidly between new wave, post-punk, and Italo disco to techno, electroclash, and even the roaring sounds of the 2020s. As a resident of Berlin and a citizen of the world, 9000’s performances reflect his deep connection to both the local underground and global club culture. 

With over three decades of experience, 9000 continues his uniquely curated journeys that blend nostalgia with modernity, taking listeners on a timeless musical voyage.

Possibly all the tracks I play and post are the soundtrack from an Iconic nightclub that functioned from 1990 to 1993 and that little club was called Legends in Warrington , north west England . The DJ’s were Mike Woods , Darren Noguerol , Steve Williams and Richard Garvey . Not your normal rave venue , it was quite unique as the BPM started around 90 and built up as the night progressed into some piano stomping tracks , techno , trance , rap and disco . Those that discovered it will tell you how amazing it was , only holding around 1100 ish and getting into the club was quite a challenge as it became more popular, you needed to que earlier in the day to get your raffle ticket and have the Legends membership card which I lost in 1992 because my wallet was stolen from some little tart in Tenerife , as I walked her back to her hotel , all my money gone but more importantly my membership card which for some reason I never got replaced as that was around the time I stopped going as for me the best days of Legends were 1990 and 1991 . So in a nutshell, Legends has a big place in my heart for the music that we got blessed with . It was a special time , it really was . The biscuits  amazing scent of the place , the people , the smiles and at the end of the night , we didn’t want to go home , DJ one more , one more …. 
It was short lived but long lived in memory and I have probably waffled on for too long now , anyway , I hope you like the tracks I’ve chosen and the mixes I’ve created …. 
One Legends and I just wander if there were any other club in the word like it . Woody and Noggy knew what they was doing and are masters and still to this day spin those vinyls . Now then , who’s ready for the next reunion?
