Superficials are an alternative Indie Rock band from South Birmingham in the U.K. In November 2015 they released their new single 'Aspire to Expire' a song which takes consumerism to a reductio ad absurdum end, by envisaging people being sold a 'deathstyle'. This single is a follow up to their brilliant E.P 'Literally makes no sense' released in 2014.

What do they sound like? Well it depends which song you listen to, however the band delights in using different layers of fuzz throughout their songs. Their influences such as The Stone Roses, Queens Of The Stone Age, and Kasabian can be heard in the foundations of their songs. However, their music offers so much more, with lyrics that offer social commentary and/or tells stories; married with infectious ear worm melodies.
