 Today June 2nd is the official release of reggae/dancehall recording artiste Keida's debut EP Ebb and Flow. The compilation is available on iTunes. The fitting title Ebb and Flow is symbolic of the rhythms of life, a seven
track compilation which embodies the essence of growth and change as inevitable outcomes of the ups and downs ... the coming and goings of life. “Ebb and Flow" is an EP for the youths that I interact with daily ,
both in my family and in yours”. A graduated level of lyrical content is notable throughout the Ep's track compilation introducing the audience to a more conscious side of the artist they may not have seen in her earlier work.
  Opening with her Rory Stonelove produced hit "Ganja Tea", Keida invites
people to use their “meds” and their in a positive way. Ganja Tea, the
classic roots reggae record is followed by "Mad World" the soulful and inspirational piece produced by Royal
Order Music. It urges us to take more responsibility for the realities of the world and be more proactive our contributions; highlighting that there are too many people
who are displeased with the way the society is running for us not to make a
conscious step for a positive change in this mad world. On her U.I.M Records
produced single entitled "One Love", Keida helps her listeners to realize
the importance of one pure love as the nucleus which will stimulate a
positive chain reaction in our consciousness and our interpersonal
relations. "One Love" is introduced by the Great Russell Bell, Math genius
and youth empowerment advocate whose wise words have helped shape the lives
of many. "Russell Bell was the first to call me Keida Rankin, way before music entered my reality. He empowered me by encouraging me to embrace my visual way of thinking and that's something I apply in all areas of my life." The blazing, amped up dancehall track “Hot Ash", also produced by
U.I.M, showcases her versatility and highlights a hard edged up-tempo sound.
On the follow up track "M-16" produced byNatural High Music, Keida
deliberately reaches out to youths who are faced with the difficult choice
between destitution and crime as a means of survival. With the soothing melodies of Chalice's veteran musician Wayne Armond on back up vocals Keida has once again made a full circle back to her roots and the music she was introduced to by her father as a child. She closes out the
track by paying respect to the late Nicodemus, one of dancehall's greats
with her rendition of one of his famous verses. On her final song "Stand For
Something" produced by Royal Order Music, she is “telling every youth mi see
that the only sure way for growth is to stand for something”. The EP closes out with a dub
version of "Stand for Something" produced by Suns of Dub which includes Ras
Jammy, Jah Bami, and Addis Pablo (son of the late GreatAugustus Pablo).
 
  Stand for something or you gonna fall for anything. Rise up and wise up.
Keida and her team Great Whyte Entertainment have worked to ensure that Ebb
and Flow is sending a message that encourages all people to hold on to a
different way of thinking, to engage in positive actions and to take an
active part in shaping a new consciousness.

In combination style comes Nego Hights ‘The Warriah’ alongside Turbulence ‘Di Future’ bringing a heavy single, “Selassie I For Life.” Channeling their adoration and reverence for H.I.M. Haile Selassie I, Nego Hights and Turbulence linked with Wadadah II of D.O.V.E. Muzik to create a very profound song with wonderful melodies & lyrics. With an upbeat tempo and Roots-Reggae-Dub sound this song will have you skanking while being edified by the potent choice of words Nego and Turbulence chose to use within their lyrics. The phrase or ideal “Selassie I For Life” constantly echoes within the hearts of the Rastafari faithful, which is that message to carry on in this generation with righteousness and love by the example of H.I.M. Haile Selassie I. 
	
Slated to release March 2018 this will be Nego Hights’ first single of the year 2018. Recently Nego released an album entitled Judgement Morning in September 2013 with the D.O.V.E. Muzik label. Featuring 17 tracks from ‘the Warriah’ and various producers, the album received it’s greatest response with the song entitled I’m Feeling Like A Lion the first track on the album. Nego Hights, originally from Belize, has also done combinations with various Belizean artists such as Taprick, Ernestine Carballo, Nello Player, Denise Castillo, Ras Indio, Donkey Man & more. He has also hit combinations with Mexican Reggae artist Sgt. Remo when releasing Stronger In These Times a single featured on Sgt. Remo’s album entitled Sgt. Remo: Crucial Reggae Duets. This is another step into the future for Nego Hights and Turbulence. Turbulence a seasoned Reggae Music veteran has toured and worked with many artists such Sizzla Kalonji, Luciano, Lutan Fyah, Fantan Mojah, Capleton and most recently with Maikel Ante and El Medico from Mista Savona’s new compilation album entitled Havana Meets Kingston. Turbulence has touched stages in many countries around the world over a course of two and a half decades therefor granting him the title of an international Reggae artist. His discography is immense with over hundreds of singles and many albums. The teamwork of Wadadah II, Nego Hights and Turbulence brings us immense joy to see the rise of up and coming artists and producers mixed with seasoned artists.
	
Available on all major digital media outlets [i.e. Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Tidal, etc.] this single features two versions, a vocal mix and a dub mix. The riddim composer Wadadah II has continued a musical tradition of various engineers and producers such as King Tubby, King Jammy, Dub Scientist, Mad Professor and more by exploring the dub vibes and manifesting a upfull dub mix for all those dub lovers out there. This tune is also the first single released from Nego Hights’ new LP coming 2018 entitled Welcome to the Other Side.
