This is the 1st collaboration with my old friend Synline (@synline). I created a basic track using his equipment in his studio, and he completed it with his excellent arrangement (includes creating additional sections, tracks, etc.) and mastering work.

This song was written by Sid Wayne and Bix Reichner It was recorded in June 1958 and released in 1959 after which it reached number 4 on the Billboard charts.  Elvis Presley sang it.
In this version I have changed the tempo, style, rhythm, some words and maybe took it out of the Rock & Roll box and put it into some other box. I used some effects on my uke tracks as well. I had a fun time doing this. The original is one of my favourite songs.

Ahhh, nothing quenches the thirst like a glass of cool, clean water.  Of the things we take for granted this might be near the top of the list, but shouldn't.  Fresh water is a primary resource for civilization.  Ancient Rome knew this early on building a vast water system for moving and storing water.  Our municipal leaders are often occupied with securing and maintaining a supply of fresh water.
This is Seagull's first of three trilogies that look at this natural resource and the peril it faces unless it is managed wisely.  The song list is as follows:
