CALIBRATION VOLUME 1

"La Da Dee La Da Da" is a dynamic 130 jungle flip of a house music classic, blending sharp breaks and haunting hoovers. "Frank Sinatra" ventures into an Acid Ghettotech realm, sampling from Miss Kittin/The Hacker's track of the same name, with added flourishes of gabber kicks. Closing the album is a jungle flip of Underground Resistance's "Jupiter Jazz," influenced by Norfik's edit of the same track, sped up and paying homage to the golden era of Old-school Jungle.

[PREMIERE] CURSXR - Godsake (Joog Music)

Fast-rising percussion purveyor Drumheller joins Funky Adjacent with the Paprika/Standoff EP. The Glaswegian producer has rapidly become known for his club-ready drum tools following his debut release on Jamz Supernova’s Future Bounce in 2021, and further releases on respected labels such as Jerome and Club Djembe.

‘Paprika/Standoff’ sees Drumheller take inspiration from world club genres to create two punishing cuts for peak time.

‘Standoff’ fuses a thumping kick, rumbling sub bass, marching snare drums, bongos and bleeps, to create a punchy industrial heater that isn’t lacking in groove. On ‘Paprika’, elements of gqom and amapiano meet UK techno, as rhythmic chanting is combined with rolling log drums, a bouncing bassline, half-time breakdowns and a smattering of breakbeats.
