GROSSO GADGETTO

Since 2002, far away from the classic formats, Grosso Gadgetto puts his mark in contemporary Indie hip-hop, the music of movies, contemporary shows and video games.
He  voluntarily destabilizes the listener by these sound deluges, under a fire nourished of scary atmospheres, drone layers, pervert breakbeats, metal guitars and catchy and addicting melodies, perfect soundtracks for a sick and claustrophobic science fiction movie that John Carpenter would probably not deny.

Invisible Prism is the experimental electronica project of Ricky Turner from Mt Nebo, Qld. Utilising analogue synthesisers, loops, effects pedals and various other sounds, Invisible Prism builds uniquely hypnotic worlds that both reward and challenge the listener. Drawing from a wide spectrum of musical influence, from 70's kosmische and sci-fi soundtracks to drone and dub, Invisible Prism's sound has perhaps been best described as "Peculiar, galactic and perplexing" (AU Review). Following the release of his first EP "Innermost Outerspace" (Wood and Wire), Ricky continues to release music while honing a raw, freeform live show that's never quite the same twice.

Love to experiment with different tuning settings; all because of my mouth harps, and also because of the New Beat formula; 32rpm +8% (Take a 45rpm and...) 

I am a mouth harpist as u might have guessed but also a fanatic sound-designer, so naturally i love to try out mutiple genres. At some point i had to split myself up in multiple names par genre.. For now the list goes like this;

Jaw harpists; Know your acid...

After discovering Rebirth, Propellerheads there first free software version contain'n some drum machines and 2 Tb 303's. 

A lot has changed...

I managed to teach myself some acoustic skillz. Started playing Dan Moi several years ago and also the Jaw harp (if your ever wondering where the acid-sound 'really' originated from, even dubstep wobbles are possible). 
Just started with Didjeridoo and i'm getting to know my guitar. So some day, there'll be some of that in my work as well...

In short maybe just call it Techno-shamanisme ;)
