Everyone's getting a lot busier these days and I would be lying if I said I didn't feel a bit left out given my indolence. Shouldn't I have a busy schedule as well? Whenever I'm not out with friends I don't really have the drive to do anything for myself which was fine until those friends didn't have time to hang out daily. I suppose indolence does lead to incompetence.  At the beginning of this summer I swore to myself that I want to be around people more, having been a pretty closed-off person prior. However, I realise now that I have been narrow-minded. I had focused on other people too much, caring far too little about myself.
Things change and I guess I should too. I don't want to pace around the house listlessly anymore, I want to do things for myself, achieve goals for myself, be able to live for myself, and I mean to the fullest. So, starting today I have a new goal. Starting today I'm making another change. Starting today I'm taking care of my own world.
