Everything Will Be Alright Today

Track 1999 inspired 20 Years After EP/Album. Its based on some events... Ever wondered how it felt like right bellow modern stealth planes during bombing?-Read on.

It was 8th April early morning hours in 1999., same night as tonight just 20 years ago. 
On this day in my small town we have local fair. We knew it was war time but we werent feeling that way. Since we didnt have military objects inside town, only 1, we (some of us) thought they would not target us. I guess we were wrong and we didnt knew they bomb "collateral damage" too. Collateral damage are their words but in plain English that means innocent civilians and their busses-houses-trains... 

I remember having a bad dream and I woke up. Or something unknown woke me up would be more precise. I knew something was wrong and weird. After several seconds I could hear very faint but also very low sound. Thing is, with infra-sound you cant really hear it but feel it and I think thats what woke me up. 
Sound increased more and more over time in volume and frequency so it could be normally heard. It was like a hum of a giant machine hoovering right above my head. 
At some moment I even thought of Fox Mulder and alien craft, dont blame me, X-Files were very popular at the time. 
Later, some seconds later precisely, various explosions of dropped bombs made clear what it is. Less than a mile away. And it was, most probably one of stealth planes (B-2 Spirit, F-117). A man would expect to hear plane fly-bys but there wasnt, just the hum. The scary hum. Like a giant machine hoovering over your head thats slowly descending towards to you, like its going to crush on you. Sound that makes chills. 
You wont hear those in movies or even documentaries, dont know why, I guess hum is scarier only in person or creators havent experience it. That was my first encounter and you probably never read about something like this and I sincerely hope no-one will ever experience it live. 
Same thing happen, me waking up and other things, the second time they bombed, so its wasnt my imagination and that I was sleepy at the time. 
Everybody was talking about bombs, me... the hum, which I´ll never forget. 

In this track the most close sound to that hum is part 1:55 - 1:57, the synth-bass sound, plane fly-bys you can hear are just to describe closer since we all relate that sound to planes.

Just a quick note, during day there were fly-bys but not when they bombed our downtown. Maybe because it was night and F-117 Nighthawk has a reason for that name...

Boyss is electronic music project whose sole member is producer Bojan Boyss. His first trying to compose/write music was at the age 16, in the 90s. Love to music and sound design/manipulation dates long before that period. His biggest influences to start was famous electronic bands from the 90s but also grunge and metal. Album from that time that made a mark on his work was soundtrack of the "Spawn" movie  where he heard for the first time collision of his favorite genres.
In the 90s and even now-days a lot of people think that electronic music has no soul or emotions and that its done easily.
Boyss, like many other, is trying to brake that stereotype and to conjure trough music (as a form of an art) some of his emotions or internal state.
He has done a lot of tracks in the past and kept them for himself thinking that there is only mainstream dictated by big labels. He got in touch by artists/bands from  local scene first who encouraged him to continue on his work.
His collaboration with Lucky Flaush gets on VA international compilation and became very popular. 
After that he did 2 albums (one of them on CD too) and many collaborations/remixes/compilations and even whole remix album.
He is still active and working on new music projects.
  
Most of the listeners describes his music as breakbeat but he is not genre bounded nor he tries to be. On some web places his music is described also as electronic/breaks/bigbeat/electronic rock/alternative/experimental.
Lately he has founded new love: sound design and sometimes he publish his work as sample libraries or under Second Escape experimental project.
