My first ever Album, 'Ocean Waves' with songs from July 2019 - May 2020. At the time of making these, I was having a lot of fun again being able to produce and experiment new music I really enjoyed. I hope these can make you calm and relaxed, feel good and vibe, with the melodic ambiance and bass my songs have for you. Thank you, take care <3

Brandon Phillips - Ocean Waves

In May I made a beat, it was simple, but nice. I didn't finish the song, so in mid-July I remade it from scratch and finished it on the 17th. The intro is the same, but some of the percussion is moved a bit, in time with the beat :) It still has the Rhodes keys, and then the main melody has Piano keys aswell ;) 
Then on the 22nd of July, I found an Ambiance plugin, so I used that in this VIP :) And finished it on the 3rd of August. It was very fun to make, hope you like it <3 Think this is one of my best :)

So recently I've been checking out some other plugins; I liked Harmor and experimented with it a bit. So that's what I used for the main sound of this song ;) I also used it again, but with a different sound in the 2nd half of the drop. I used Sytrus > Default for the other dubstep parts ;) And Rhodes in FL Keys, and Ambiance again <3 
This one was very fun to make, hope you enjoy :) <3

I Can't Sleep

If you follow my Youtube channel you might've already heard a bit of this song in my latest vid ;)
On Saturday (Sep. 28th) I was very tired, when I thought of a simple melody, so when I got home I put down the notes with the FL Keys plugin; then added an Ambiance preset, and used Harmor to make the main dubstep sound. The next day I added another dubstep sound with Harmor; Rhodes, and an Organ to the drop. And last night I added a new sound to the drop, I think it goes pretty well.

Hi! I'm Brandon and have been using FL Studio since April 2018 when I was 14, but originally started off by playing around with online music makers for fun back from 2015-2018. In mid-2019 I also began learning piano, which has definitely helped me improve with my compositions. Music has been not only a creative outlet for me, but also a way to capture memories & express my emotions.

My main influences come from dubstep (especially deep 140/bass), chillstep, hip hop, electronic, ambient, grime, garage, & more, usually with a focus on melodic elements. A lot of my tunes are pretty simplistic, but I enjoy not having them overly complex. 

Releases under 'Brandon Phillips' are times captured in my life & fully represent my vision by strongly focusing on melodic elements; whereas the 'BP2004' / 'BP EDM' name is more about other electronic projects & experimentation from what my sound style is at the time; and lastly, the 'Brandish Beatz' alias is primarily for grime & hip hop projects.
