What happens when one unstoppable force meets another, equally, unstoppable force?

When COMRADE WINSTON and COSMIC FORCE, bumped into each other at a Rave, they immediately felt a musical connection. Now, they foster that connection through the collaborative project of Ultrastation, where hypnotizing techno collides into merciless electro sounds.

Ultrastation’s electrifying dynamic expresses itself through a hybrid live setting in which DJ set and modular synth performance seamlessly merge into each other, creating a comet rain of techno, 909s with amplified low ends and vocoder-improvs, all on top of exquisitely mixed tracks. A formula more inflammable than a rocket’s bottom: festival sites in vortex and clubs in ecstasy set a new standard for live techno, all before the Ultrastation mothership sets off for another destination.

These two highly experienced powerhouses are completive like yin to yang, Han to Chemie or Kirk to Spock. Ultrastation stuns, bedazzles, spaces out and zones in: they are the living proof of the sum of parts. To infinity and beyond…

✈ To celebrate this new episode, we are proud and delighted to host such an iconic figure from the Indian Techno scene : ARJUN VAGALE (Axis, Odd Recordings, MindTrip Music).

Widely celebrated as the pioneer of techno in India, Arjun Vagale continues to steer the course of the country’s underground electronic movement. Known for his intense, driven and raw sound, Arjun is one of the most prolific artists to come out of Asia, and his cutting-edge productions have seen massive global reach. Receiving numerous awards and named one of “Asia’s finest underground music exports”, Arjun is an artist, DJ, producer, live act, label owner, radio show host, and all-round music entrepreneur.

2021 saw Arjun release his debut artist album "Exit Fragments" on Jeff Mill's AXIS Records.
The LP received several accolades including the 'Best Albums of the Year' by Mixmag. Boldly moving away from a major mainstage career at a time when his erstwhile live act, Jalebee Cartel, was sharing headlining spots with The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy and Modeselektor, Arjun followed his love for the counterculture by traveling into darker, more experimental terrain. Always inspired by the sounds coming out of Berlin, he based many summer tours out of Germany before moving to New York and finally settling in Goa. Arjun’s knowledge and use of technology on stage is unparalleled, and he innovatively wields drum machines and modular synthesizers to create an electrifying atmosphere. His ability to literally ‘move’ a dance floor, not just play to it, has brought him to legendary clubs like Tresor, Womb & Paradiso, and prominent festivals such as Awakenings, BPM, Sonar, ADE, Fusion, Sunburn and Supersonic, playing alongside the industry’s finest.

His productions have truly put him, and India, on the electronic music map. Early tracks like “She Said” and “Terrakoz” were championed by Hawtin and Dubfire, and subsequently licensed to compilations by Carl Cox and John Digweed. Remixes soon followed for Danny Tenaglia, Victor Calderone and Dave Seaman. Now signed to Axis Records, REKIDS, KEY Vinyl, his previous releases on Drumcode, SCI+TEC, Tronic, and Planet Rhythm have received worldwide acclaim, and his signature sounds are regularly played at DC10 in Ibiza or Berghain in Berlin.

About Tresor Berlin
At midnight, on March 13th 1991, a basement door opened at Leipziger Strasse 126, Berlin. Through this door, many passed, on their way to defining new terrains in electronic music. There they found a dance floor in the vaults of a closed-down department store, with a unique sound bound to dense fog, building night after night a history that was also a vision of the future.

This history has seen in Jeff Mills’ first sets on three turntables, Underground Resistance's first live appearances in Europe, grandiose Tresor Park parties, to various chapters of the Loveparade with Sven Väth in the 90s and since then countless generation-spanning parties. These moments represent the highlights of infinite personal clubbing experiences. It is the manifestation of the Berlin spirit, emerging from its considerable strife. This history is not without its complications - from temporary closure by the authorities and several raids in the early years to closure and demolition of the old location in 2005. What followed was years of wandering in exile and, finally, resurrection in the new home in Kraftwerk Berlin.

These stories, conversations and shared experiences within our walls forge a resilience that drives towards a shared ideal, the Tresor sound: community, resistance, and the world to come. This was observed in the newly re-unified German youth, who danced and celebrated together from the club’s inception, and into the present day through ongoing community work in Detroit.

To those that have danced before, and to those that will dance in the future: the light at the end of the long Tresor tunnel is a signal. A flicker amidst the fog. This is our future. This is our place.

Person X (Sandro Loladze) – a Georgian artist and member of the 11th collective, whose work is distinguished by deep, hypnotic, and dark atmospheres. His sets are built on the refined energy of minimalism and shadowy textures, where the interplay of tension and release creates a unique musical experience.

His musical approach is grounded in meticulous attention to detail and the careful shaping of sound. Each performance becomes an experimental space where layers gradually unfold, guiding the listener into new dimensions. Person X’s style sets him apart on the contemporary electronic music scene as an artist capable of creating entirely new atmospheres while simultaneously establishing his own distinct and independent voice.

Garry Todd: Time Goes On EP (BPitch)

“Club music that makes you wanna dance” – Garry Todd’s description of his art is as simple as that. And he’s right: it doesn’t mess about, it goes straight for your motor controls, and it’s really making waves on the club scene. We could also add that it’s in the house domain, it doesn’t cater to any clichés, and it has a certain twist that points to a natural-born talent. But who is this Garry Todd? He has a label, called Contemporary Scarecrow. It serves as his platform for both music and fashion. As a teenager he danced to sets from Masters At Work. Six years ago, having caught the house and techno bug and feeling the longing for an endless summer, he began a nomadic existence between Australia, Ibiza and his home in the UK. Making notable strides down under, he became a central figure as a DJ, producer and promoter in the nascent club scene in and around Sydney. In his own productions he delicately and subtly explores the house genre. His recent debut album “Nora Lilian” is just bursting with unique ideas – prepared on the TR-909, a Roland Juno-60 synth and supported with vocals from a few friends. 

“Time Goes On” marks the first EP release from the album. The title track dances around the enchantingly presented voice of Nat Page and uses stirring claps and a frenzied synth line to bring it to the clubs – the true destination of this magic number. With “Go Green” – a track not included on the album – the globetrotter serves up charming froggy basslines and rasping acid hi-hats that ultimately lead to an ethereal, beatless synth texture. The EP then gets a special ingredient – a whole side of the vinyl is allocated to one of the stand-out cuts from the album, “Anniversary Track”, which Garry Todd extends to 13 minutes of epic, psychedelic deepness, without leaving any of the suspense behind. “I am doing something I love, and that I am grateful for,” he says of his work. This gratitude and love can be felt in every beat, every chord, every melody. And he can be sure that it’s reciprocated – deeply and sincerely!
