As she explained "The idea of this mix is to transport listeners back into a sweaty nightclub in the early hours of the morning, when sunlight starts to trickle through the windows. Antigone is a renowned artist in the avant-garde French techno scene and has contributed notable tracks like "Cantor Dust" in collaboration with Token and remixes like Slam's "Positive Education" for Soma Quality Recordings. His passion for music began at a young age, exploring records at Synchrophone. While firmly rooted in techno, he embraces a wide range of sounds.🎧😌

Starting his career at Concrete in Paris, the DJ quickly made a name for himself, gaining recognition with his EP "Forbidden Works" on Construct Re-form and the release of "Menace of Species" on Concrete Music. His productions,  showcase his unique melodic and melancholic style. As a skilled DJ, he has performed at international clubs and festivals, building a solid artistic reputation. He has been a resident DJ at Concrete for five years, captivating audiences with his diverse track selection.🪩

We are very happy to add this special Mix to our series, a sonic journey that begins with evolving textures, acidic synths, broken rhythms, and booming 808 bass. Then progressing with bossy stabs, locked-in hardgroove, strong percussion, bongos, shakers, and warm keys. Expect funky influences and the intriguing addition of wind instruments. A producer, vinyl-only DJ, and label founder, @hectoroaks emerged from Madrid’s underground dance scene, later moving to Berlin to become one of the most sought-after selectors on the international club circuit. 

His mix for this month’s Carhartt WIP Radio show explores the edges and planes of unfiltered techno, with a selection of tracks taken from his labels OAKS and KAOS. As ever, the mix is accompanied by an interview, where Oaks discusses his early love of 80s synthpop, countryside raves in Madrid, and why he’s chosen vinyl as his medium. For the 65th edition of our Podcast Series, we welcome Supergloss. After a superb performance at our latest edition at Else, she now teases what she will bring to this year's ADE. 

Born and raised in Germany, Supergloss began her musical journey at the age of five when she started playing the classical piano. Her musical interests and tastes continued to evolve as she grew up, moving from Hyperpop to Hip Hop before finally finding her passion in Techno after settling in Berlin. Refusing to be defined by a single style or label, Supergloss offers a fresh adventure with each new mix she creates.

Drawing inspiration from the timeless techno tracks of the 90s and 00s, Supergloss creates a highly danceable blend of energetic sounds that seamlessly combines past and future styles. Her musical style sits between the genres of acid, trance and techno. With her music, she aims to activate the listener's feminine energy through a selection of hip-moving tracks and playful beats.

Supergloss will return in the booth on the final day of our ADE marathon during Intercell x Club Heart Broken.
