The 33-track compilation in three installments is dedicated to the infamous ‚We Are Not Alone‘ raves. The innovative rave techno party series was launched in Berlin in 2016 by Ellen Allien.

Conceived in lockdown early 2020 when the parties were called to a halt, it unites artists from past andfuture parties, while the dancefl oors are restricted.
Presented as three digital compilation volumes, and now on vinyl, Ellen is joined by DJ T-1000 aka Detroit‘sAlan Oldham, with other established favourites including Ryan James Ford, Henning Baer, Cosmin TRG, LadyStarlight, Alien Rain, Truncate, SHDW & Obscure Shape and LADA (Dasha Rush & Lars Hemmerling). Fromthe new Berlin generation there‘s Inhalt Der Nacht, JakoJako, Tham, Parallx, Blue Hour and Andrew Moore,with American guests like P.Leone and Heidi Sabertooth.

This is one of the most eff ervescent and essential collections of techno you‘re likely to own.

The A-side is packed with velocity and weapons ready to detonate any club.

The B-Side takes things to a much darker domain. Heavy reverberated percussions are surrounded by shifty and ghostly synths to deliver a shiver down your spine.

Prolific Italian producer Kaiser makes his long awaited debut on Soma with a perfectly executed 4 track EP, The Way Back. Having been present on the scene through releases with Planet Rhythm, Animal Farm and more recently his own K S R imprint, Kaiser's style is a mixture of abrasive, hypnotic Techno blended with element of minimalism, glued together with a solid amount of groove. 

Title track The Way Back reminisces to Birmingham-era UK Techno with it’s thundering rhythms and twisted synth hook. Tales Of The Future takes things on a more futuristic tip as spacial polyrhythms build the structure of this very functional track. Ramping up the pace a little more, Loud Cries builds incessantly as impulsive percussion drives this perfectly crafted tool. Clubbed to Death finishes off this Soma debut EP from Kaiser with a speedy broken beat as atonal pads and drones create a densely packed, atmospheric and climactic track.

Combining that with parts from classical compositions and pulverizing sounds of Techno, he aims to convey a hybrid symphony that can translate into a so called 'Slam and Banger'.

Making his debut on @soma with the "Extinction" EP is Berlin based DJ and producer, Non Reversible. 

Slowly but surely making his name within the underground ranks of Techno, Non Reversible has released storming EPs via ARTS, Animal Farm and his own eponymous label. With his debut Soma EP, Non Reversible works his way through 5 modern, industrial tracks.

"Riot" opens the EP and with a title like that, you know what to expect. A furious, percussion driven track, Riot stomps its way forwards with efficiency, breaking only to allow for chants of rebellion to ring through. "Embrace Our Culture" keeps on a similarly formidable tip. Pounding drums lead the charge to a backing of tripped out atmospherics that build and lead throughout the track. Title track "Extinction" delivers on direct assault Techno once again - set to a backdrop of dread with screaming tones that deliver an unnerving melancholy. 

"And Then There Was Silence" closes out this debut with anything else but silence. 

Once again, Non Reversible brings colossal energy via intense percussion, more rigid rhythms and huge, spacial atmospherics.

Athens based DJ & producer, Jerm, debuts on Soma with a massive new release, Electric City EP. A relative new face to the greater Techno world, Jerm is quickly ascending the ranks with multiple hard hitting original productions and remixes which are garnering attention across the board. His debut Soma release sets down strong roots with direct and unrelenting Techno, moving from hard edged industrial sounds, to jacked up 90s flavoured elements. Also appearing for the first time on Soma, in the form of a remix, is UK Techno maverick, Manni Dee.

Control Theory opens the release with powerhouse beats and eviscerating synths and a colossal amount of attitude. Manni Dee’s remix of Control Theory feeds on that attitude and take it up even more with clear nods to the rapid Birmingham sound. Glass Chinn keeps the intensity flowing with galloping percussion that leads directly into a dark, driving and industrial-esq affair. Maiden Voyage works in more hypnotic elements whilst still retaining Jerm’s concussive and direct sound. The jacking and funked up vibes of Booze Cruise can be found as a Bandcamp exclusive.
