Venerated heavyweights Surgeon and Speedy J cement their Multiples collaborative project with a long-form album of tweaked experiments past the outer reaches of the techno realm. Recorded over the course of two days at Speedy J’s STOOR lab in Rotterdam, Two Hours Or Something is what happens when decades-deep experts in the field plug their hardware in and jam without time constraints or crowd expectations. In these raw, one-take, no-edit sessions there are propulsive moments of techno and electro balanced out by extended beatless passages and a constant experimental instinct which drives the music forward into parts unknown. Following a string of knockout club and festival appearances, this is a fitting document of just how far out Multiples can go when you combine two such experienced and inquisitive minds (and their respective gear).

Vel, Alias Jennifer Parienté, is Moroccan artist, France-Based, Dj,
Producer of electronic music and engineer. When she left Rabat, her hometown, at 18 years old for Lyon, Jennifer studied to become an
engineer. Yet, one particular night shook her path up: she met techno music for the first time at Le Sucre and it was love at first sight. With these new Doors opened, she passionately nurtured
from the club culture she encountered there, up to the point where she allowed herself to ascend, becoming Vel. Celar-paced yet textured techno, powerful yet graceful, Vel’s sound radiates
through throbbing drums she summons from her memories, celestial whispers and fragile voices: the divine feminine emanates from all
the pulsating vibrations she casts. During sets, Vel knows no limits of genre, she’s always eager to hit hard, defying boundaries and BPMs, a true force of nature.

In a small amount of time, Vel’s journey was already marked by the friendship and the guidance of artists such as François X, u.r.trax or In Aeternam Vale. She looks up to them and to other artists where she also finds inspiration: Bjarki, Anetha, Schacke, Objekt...

Vel is appearing on compilations such as Blue Hour’s last release, will release a collaboration track with Unklevon on Boys Noise records, and will soon be releasing her debut album on Mama told ya.

Feeling most at home with the fundamental techno sound she heard in Berlin’s clubs on her first trip to the city in 2016, she evokes the polarity of her femme & masculine energy while embracing the neurodiverse spectrum of her musicality. Reflecting the place & time, you could hear her play energetic grooves,
brain-massaging frequencies, or dark industrial textures.
With a growing presence, Pooja B plays for many queer collectives & clubs in Berlin & beyond. Recently she played at Tresor Berlin and debuted at RSO Berlin. Her own music productions often have socio-political references, & she aspires to play more music by
FLINTA & BIPOC artists. Pooja B is involved in diverse communities, working on transcultural inclusion, equity, and mental health in music. Today we are thrilled to bring you this powerful journey through her sound.

Puerto Rican artist Cerrot, currently based
in Barcelona, has captivated audiences with
a series of remarkable releases in recent
years. His debut album “Iteritax” on Nina
Kraviz’s esteemed label Trip Recordings was a
significant milestone in his career, followed
by his latest masterpiece “Butterfly Effect.”
Additionally, Cerrot has showcased his music
on Anetha’s “Mama Told Ya” label, contributing
to the “Air” compilation. Drawing inspiration
from visionary maestros such as Rod Modell,
John Beltran, Fumiya Tanaka, and Underworld,
Cerrot’s sonic creations blend old school
vibes with avant-garde techno and experimental
electronic music. With his distinctive sound,
Cerrot has graced prestigious stages across
Europe, including prominent events like
Hivernacle in Barcelona, Printworks in London,
Aquasella Festival in Asturias, and more.

Teenage Mutants does not need an introduction. With being a main player on labels like Stil Vor Talent, Suara and OFF Recordings, Teenage Mutants is making an impact in the industry with his releases topping the charts over and over again. 
While his name may evoke childhood memories, there’s nothing comic about his passion for music. Within the space of a few years, Teenage Mutants, the one-man show from Mainz (Germany), has established himself as a serious force in the deep house scene.
With his maiden release he achieved what many strive for during a whole career, namely a pole position in the heavily fought over Beatport Deep House Charts: in early 2013, ‘Hanging On’, a collaboration with OFF founder Andre Crom, went straight to #1. Since then, Teenage Mutants has proven he’s no one trick pony, as releases on Suara, Stil vor Talent, Light my Fire, Kittball, Katermukke and Nervous cemented his position in the underground. While ‘People’, together with Purple Disco Machine, kicked 2014 off with a bang, another collaboration with his good buddy took the summer by storm – ‘The Path’, a seriously feel-good flute anthem, has been inescapable during the season. 

Jonas Saalbach is also back on our label teaming up with Teenage Mutants. Honest Techno-music, permeated by powerful basses and graceful arrangements and dreamy melodies defines the sound of Jonas Saalbach. One might add a lot more attributes, but basically, Jonas Saalbach is refreshingly different. He constantly reinvents his music but refrains from leaving out distinct nuances, which make his music unmistakable. The 25 year-old performs his tracks exclusively live. His music seems to distort space and time, liberates and triggers an intoxicating euphoric effect, that is long overdue. A young talent who can already look back on a lot of releases but whose work is still in its infancy. With great releases on the Einmusika, Katermukke & Bedrock lately he already build a strong name. We are very proud to have this talented guy on our label and have him releasing for the 2nd time on Click Records.

Edouard has led a colorful career as  a Dj. 
He is also a major event promoter in Paris since 2003 with"Electrochic" & "Belle Epoque!".
In 2014 he launched "Overground " at Rex Club, his brand new project that aims to open the underground in this legendary venue.
Edouard began learning the basics of djing, at quite a young age, with Chicago House Music and Techno from Detroit in the 90's when it blew up dancefloors through Europe.
At this time he spent many sleepless nights dancing and anticipating the DJ's next record, a feeling that is crucial in learning to control the dancefloor.

Born and raised in Paris, Edouard spins an eclectic set that is recognizably for a dancin' floor. 
He has an uncanny ability to surprise his crowd with a track they never thought that they would dance to.
Also his experience, love and culture of Music in its global definition makes Edouard an all-round DJ able to kick any dancefloor!
He also produces deep/tech house tracks on labels from Berlin like Katermukke or Dantze. 
His music just like the way he plays is made to stump your feet.

And a successful venture it was at that – with the album becoming into an essential long player, and ranking as one of Bleep's top albums of 2015, Now, to mark Hypercolour's 50th single release, four of electronic music's heavyweights have brought forward three strong reworkings of 4: Ricardo Villalobos & Max Loderbauer, Head High (aka Shed) and RA Best Live Act of 2015, KiNK – whose remix comes up trumps in our eyes.

In his take on album favourite, "Techno Disco", KiNK deploys a spacey synth melody and a Reese-style bassline – transforming it into an energetic peaktime track, with elements not falling sonically far from a UR record.

Hamburg label Jeudi Records have kicked off their remix series by asking a few of their favourite producers, including Maxxi Soundsystem, Camea and Quina, to rework some of the label's biggest tracks to date.

One of the EP's highlights comes from New York producer Manik, who remixes 'Don't Play Around' originally released by Scottish duo Cheap Picasso. 

Since its release in 2014, the track has gone on to be one of Jeudi's biggest hits and Manik's version wisely chooses to keep the core components intact while beefing up the percussion for a rougher take on Cheap Picasso's tune.

We’re not only kicking off the new year 2016 in some bootylicious fashion, but with a special release by the axis Tokyo-Chicago-Berlin. Both the Japanese techno legend DJ Shufflemaster as well as his compatriot and partner-in-crime Chester Beatty will debut on BPitch. Since their first joint EP from 1997 on Robert Armani’s label Cloned Vinyl, the duo held a special connection to Chicago, the origins of house music.

By saying Chicago, we also have to mention the legendary imprint Dance Mania. One of its members, Charles „DJ Funk“ Chambers, is still considered as the synonym for the rough and raw ghetto house sound penetrated by TR-808 and TR-909. The oldschool track „Our House Music“ by DJ Shufflemaster & Chester Beatty bows to the still timeless chi-town style with its distinctive, analog-driven synth bass line, rattling hi-hats as well as warm and epic chords. It’s an impressively simple arrangement that spreads a nostalgic drive with its glockenspiel intermezzo and the iconic vocals by DJ Funk. The remix by DJ Tasaka is not only highlighting the delay on vocals and some atmospheric soundscapes, especially the 808 drums and the 303 bass lines are reminiscent of the futuristic classic Chicago acid.
