Hailing from the city of Pereira, the producer and live act Gotshell debuts on Bpitch Berlin, a wide-ranging and potent 8-track EP, crispy modular system sounds, produced in solidarity with the ongoing protests in his native Colombia.
Gotshell made his name through appearances on Mord, Planet Rhythm, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, EPM and James Ruskin’s Blueprint. Prolific, diverse and unpredictable, his productions weave together classic old school techno loops, IDM, breaks and experimental noise. As a live performer, his freewheeling and psyche- delic sets at festivals like Freedom in Colombia and Jungle Groove in Ecuador, plus underground clubs in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Tresor Berlin have earned him an international following.

Produced against a backdrop of poverty, inequality and protest met with violent government reprisals, Rezagados is an outcry against the Colombian government’s repression of dissent and creation of what the producer calls a ‘distorted reality that minimizes hope’.

Across 8 tracks Gotshell is in full flight, ranging from twisted cross-rhythmic techno to intricate, stuttering IDM. Moments of darkness are balanced by flashes of light, sounds of nature and searching euphoria, before the EP’s deep and contorted climax. It’s the sound of a producer restless and determined to resist.

Miss Crafty is a fierce producer and DJ born and raised in San Francisco, California. She is the founder of Forbidden Transitions, an underground collective focused on empowering underrepresented communities with the purpose of embracing "human duality dressed in shades of techno."

Born to an Asian immigrant mother and American father, Miss Crafty draws inspiration from her colorful cultural background. Her productions are tough, gritty, and uncompromising, punishing dance floors and catering the connoisseurs of harder, faster styles of techno. Through music, Miss Crafty hopes to influence others to be authentic and vulnerable towards themselves and each other.

OBSKRRD 086 // Miss Crafty Birthday Mix

For our next show we are happy and glad to invite Cacophoneuses. 
Since 2011, Joséphine (Lyon, FR) and Sandra (Metz, FR), the french duo of friends CACOPHONEUSES, explore and produce a techno tinted with industrial and saturated sounds. Their lives on machines are all unique because they leave room for improvisation on stage to make the adrenaline rush. They have enchanted crowds since their spectacular appearance at the respected techno industrial festival La Fondation Sonore in 2013 (Brussels), followed by nothing less than a Maschinenfest gig. In 2015, they joined the Wave Gothik Treffen Festival in Leipzig. In 2016, one of their dreams became real : playing at TRESOR Club in Berlin for the Female Pressure 006 event organized by Dj Kaltès.
In 2013, they self-produced their first album Venus Voices. In 2014, they signed on the German Label HANDS and released their second album The Myth of Lorelei which follows their self-proclaimed goal to move you inside (and) out. Hearty technoid beats and arcane soundscapes that set the myth of Lorelei to music, an album alluring the listener into the world of this fresh duo, in the no-man's-land between rhythm'n'noise and techno. In 2018, they released their their third album Chaos Theory  (HANDS).
