‘Boompahpah’ gets things rolling with dense beats, a high-octane tempo and a choir-driven breakdown. ‘20inch Chrome’ is a madcap cut that uses a variety of hip hop-esque samples, sirens and a tribal chant. On the flip ‘Bitte Everyday’ utilises breakbeats and a mixture of rapping, chanting, and zany effects to enchant the listener. It was only a matter of time before FLAWS aka Kai Hickinson joined me on my residency.

Since our B2B EP in October last year on his own beloved Platform22 label our friendship has grown enormously. At just the age of 18 his productions have been nothing less then perfection and have catch the eyes of many established artists and promoters through out the scene. Including some of the biggest names in the industry to date DVS1, TWR72 and Steffan Linzatti to name a few. Since his release on SRIE Records Kai has built up a healthy release schedule for him self which has lead to some incredible European bookings later this year. Kai’s attitude towards Techno is truly remarkable for his age and so inspiring for myself and others a like.

On tonight’s Episode I’ll be speaking with Kai about his workflow and how he manages his productions in the studio. 
I’ll also be finding out more about his incredible enthusiasm towards the scene and what he believes is the right way to go on presenting yourself as new artist.

These different gigs allowed her to rise at the age of 19 and play alongside artists like Kmyle, Paula Temple or VTSS. Mental, heavy, obscure and rhythmic are the definition of her music. She released her first track on Raär’s label Vaerel Records and have a forthcoming release mid 2021
