The main synths resound like an old disco swirl production and so you’ll have the right mood for the next bomb on this EP. “Groove Symphony“ - already a classic but never released is coming in a new version. The claps creeping in slowly, the melody is hidden behind a strong intro till the piano finally arrives and brings the production to another magic dimension. 

Like the title name saying - this is a real Groove Symphony, completed with a remix by Hannes Fischer. Late night or early morning, Beatamines prepared the right sound for you.

Claptone steps out of the shadows once again with ‘The Music Got Me’, an exciting new offering from the mysterious enigma with the golden mask.

As you would expect of new Claptone, 'The Music Got Me’ is destined for late nights and packed clubs all over, such are the enchanting powers of this otherworldly beast. However this one goes further still. The achingly cool 80s NYC disco/postpunk flavour combines with a distinct Chicago bassline to offer an exciting glimpse of the eclectic, indie vibe of his debut artist album (slated for release later this year on Different Recordings – the label that launched the careers of Crystal Castles, Tiga, Crystal Fighters, Vitalic).  

Claptone’s last two releases ‘No Eyes’ and ‘Ghost’ both topped the Beatport charts, the latter of which featured Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! (a collaboration we can only assume was arranged by some sort of séance). They went on to become enormous smashes on Berlin house label Exploited, earning the plaudits of the biggest DJs and setting Claptone off on a non-stop DJ tour across the globe.

It’s remarkable that the masked man has still found time in his tour schedule to deliver big remixes for the likes of Metronomy, The Pet Shop Boys, Rüfüs, Klaxons and Gregory Porter & more!

For our next single, we are super excited to present you with a great deep house cracker from none other than Stan Kolev!
With over 92 pages of releases on Traxsource on labels such as Bonzai Progressive, Outta limits, Dutchie Music and more, this
is a producer who needs no further introduction.

His single "Empower" is a powerful and beautifully produced deep house track, perfect for mid or late night sets. A chunky bassline and groovy percussion combine with
jazzy piano chords and sassy vocals to create this great deep house tune. Tripped out arpeggios are introduced later in the track lifting the vibes to the heavens.

Sonic Soul Records owner and manager Rishi K. steps up with the first remix in this pack. His version is created in his typical style, focusing on the melodic elements of the original track and creating a slightly more progressive track.

The third remix in this release is from Bulgarian based deep and progressive house producer Allan Zax. A true progressive masterpiece, his remix gets a groovy bassline going, interstellar SFX and ambience, new vocals and great piano stabs. This remix also focuses on the progressive house elements, and is a driving track sure to get anyone grooving.

Last and not least, Deep Active Sound creates a super deep remix. This remix is bouncy, groovy and just plain delicious. With a classic deep house vibe, this one will definitely be a favorite among deep house heads. The production is spot on, with beautiful sound effects, percussion,lush stabs and pads.

Nolan Feat. Forrest - C'est La Vie (P.A.C.O.'s Afterhour RMX)

Its been a little over four years since Kellerkind released his first song to the public ear. Sirion Records gladly offered him the platform to do so then and achieved the project "Bergluft" together, which received massive credits worldwide. This was the kick-off to his music career and was followed by many releases on renowned labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Flash Rec. or Hive Audio. Nevertheless he remained active with Sirion Records as well through remixes for other projects or also with his own vinyl release "Altro Mondo". The possibility to tell an extended story is the appeal of making an album for Kellerkind. This is his chance to introduce tracks that arent mainly focused on being "dance floor" music. He integrates this quite aptly and constructively into the album. The rather simple track titles represent moving moments in his musical development. Starting off with a quite jazzy number he makes full circle back to his roots in disco on the dance floor. As the title of the main track says "Disco on the Dancefloor" is ideally suited fort he dance floor with is groovy bass and poignant disco stabs, ready to thrill the masses. The rhythm and atmosphere of this song make summer approach just a little quicker. Continuing with "Its Like" - a rather raw number, shaped by its driving bass line, which takes the buildup of the album further and with its compelling vocals manages to contrast from classic deep- tech house songs. Kellerkind cranks it up with "Triple Distilled" - organs, trumpets, flutes and synchs. A truly musical piece, destined to make you dance. "Its 2AM" keeps that pace of movement. The catchy voices add that something special to the song. "Backflash" is next - this track also appeared on Kellerkinds recently released EP on Stil Vor Talent. Mighty sounds, staged dramatically - a perfect transition to "Play it Loud". Kellerkind relies entirely on melodic bass line at the center of this track and its strong sub bass to pull you in. The precisely placed, bizarre vocal cuts maintain the songs diversity and tension. This is one not to be missed on the dance floor. Concluding the Album shouldnt get your heart pumping, but rather melting into deeper, quieter tracks in which the artist takes us. The final track, the perfect ending to the album, is an incredibly melancholic chord sequence added to a cozy beat. Truly a successful, exciting, well told story. With their variations, the bonus tracks are an excellent addition to Kellerkinds signature style. None lesser than Channel X (Stil vor Talent), Animal Trainer (Stil vor Talent) and Jon Donson (Sirion Records) did the honors.

Bed Of Lies (Original Mix)

Dedicated to only the finest house, Akbal Music is a deep and melodic label with spiritual vibes and tribal grooves. Headed up by Robbie Akbal, its roster includes tracks and remixes from the likes of Mihai Popoviciu, Death on the Balcony, Nick Curly, Hyenah, Jon Charnis and Audiofly.

Robbie Akbal has released many times on Akbal Music along with contributing tracks to other high flying imprints such as Crosstown Rebels, Sol Selectas, Kindisch and Culprit. He can also be found collaborating with people like Eric Volta and Shall Ocin.

First of the remixes is from South African artist Floyd Lavine who is one of the country’s most exciting young prospects, already receiving global bookings in places like Brazil and Germany where he is a resident as Watergate. Still early in his career, he already has an accomplished back catalogue with tracks on Get Physical, Defected, Moon Harbour, an his own Rise Music.

Argentinia based Facundo Mohrr is the second remix artist and he comes fresh from releasing on All Day I Dream along with other noteworthy imprints such as Magician On Duty, Shanti Radio Moscow and L'enfant terrible.

Featuring the vocals of Ay Sarita, the original track titled “Fanaya” is an eloquent piece of music with natural textures that conjure images of the jungle from a distant land filled with exotic wildlife. Enchantingly spiritual, the seductive vocal intermingles with the rich percussive textures and melody rich pads as they weave a fateful path through the trees and phonic foliage.

Floyd Lavine’s remix removes some of the atmospheric textures, putting more of a focus on the percussion to create a toughened up version designed for the club. This also exposes the vocals give it an intimate sound that adds to the unfolding tension and building intensity.

Facundo Mohrr closes the EP with a remix that pays homage to the original's mood but with a new bassline and some added intricacy. It's got a warm and soothing sound centred round calming atmosphere and deep rhythms that erupt into full flow after the main breakdown when the track takes flight.
