Requiring no introduction for techno/house enthusiasts, DJ/producer Peter Kremeier a.k.a. LoSoul, was one of the mainstays on Playhouse, the classic label collective based in his hometown of Frankfurt. Aside from playing clubs throughout Europe (Panorama Bar, Rex, etc.), he’s kept busy doing remixes, including one for Renato Figoli on AMAM, which Sven Väth later included on his Sound of the 14th Season mix and Kerri Chandler on Watergate 15. It’s surprising to realize, now, that he hasn’t released an EP of his own in nearly two years! No sweat—he’s back in action with New Day, comprising two finely tuned, 10-minute-plus sound sculptures that will add distinction to today’s discerning dancefloors. 

“Below the Clouds” will not just move bodies but raise eyebrows with its undeniable sense of buildup and tension, like a storm forming overhead: Swarming around the thick, juicy house thump are electronic howls, menacing reverberations and metallic pads – this cut is for darker and deeper moments.

“Morning Birds” offers a stark contrast in mood; this time the commanding kick is built beneath a mélange of Francophile filter house, jazz-inflicted keys, and dewy atmospheric notes, all combining to form a euphoric haze. As the title implies, this track is especially suited for the early hours during sunrise, when night owls become early birds, ready for earworm breakfast. It’s a new dawn, it’s a New Day…

Art Vibes returns with a winter release brimming with euphoria and profound progressions, aiming to transport you to other dimensions through organic rhythms and ethereal melodies. We're delighted to release the Elsewhere EP by Cahelo.

French producer Cahelo has contributed two original tracks to the release, "Elsewhere" and "Bananaquit," which have been beautifully reimagined by DSF and Mass Digital.

Cahelo's EP begins with "Elsewhere," an otherworldly anthem featuring Caribbean percussion and soulful vocals that lead into a warm, frothy, and sweet drop. With its shamanic melodies and radiant bells, this track becomes an inescapable source of joy.

On the other hand, "Bananaquit" is a track that never lets you go. Its playful, sweet, and fun bass line is blended with dreamlike samples, ghostly vocals, extraterrestrial strings, and spiritual pianos, culminating in an epic climax with a powerful lead synthesizer.

DSF's remix of "Elsewhere" exudes astral qualities, making it the perfect track for escaping the outside world, whether you're dancing in a crowded club or relaxing in the comfort of your own bedroom. Mass Digital has put his signature sound to work on "Bananaquit," crafting a lunar piece that takes us through universes of color, utopian civilizations, and pleasant memories of the future. Now, Get Physical has taken the reigns and handed the track over to Loco Dice, M.A.N.D.Y. and Da Cappo for their remix wizardry.  

Loco Dice who has African roots spends his proceeds of the EP for the development of the new website, and the donation campaign for the Kliptown Youth Centre in Soweto, South Africa, a non-profit project that provides hope through tutoring, athletic, music and arts programs.  The returns will go to helping the heroes of the Kliptown Youth Center in Soweto, South Africa, giving kids a chance to create and express themselves whereas they might not have had that chance before. The youth is our future, and right now they need our help and support.
