Life Is A Loop is a Rotterdam-based Drum & Bass project by Steve, rooted in spirituality, storytelling, and self-discovery.

Originally founded as a duo with his longtime friend Bram—after they met at the Rock Academy in Tilburg—the project was born from a shared love of music, personal growth, and mind-expanding moments on the dancefloor. Over the years, Life Is A Loop evolved into more than just a musical act; it became a vessel for exploring inner worlds through sound, visuals, and deep, energetic DnB.

Now continuing solo, Steve carries that vision forward—creating immersive tracks that blend cinematic energy with primal rhythms, always with a story to tell. With every release, Life Is A Loop invites listeners to break through their limits, tune into the present, and move together in the same frequency.

The mission remains the same: To create endlessly, grow consciously, uplift each other and enjoy this wild ride called life together with all of you!

Born out of an era where Ridley Scott imagined dystopian futures on the silver screen, and artists like NIN and Aphex Twin rocked MTV.

Getting creative in the studio with the likes of Seven Lions, Skrillex, Deadmau5, and Tom Morello, and contributing to film scores and OSTs, including “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and “XXX -Return of Xander Cage” in collaboration with top composer Brian Tyler, Stanczak's long standing career in electronic music never stands still.
