Hi, my name is Maxwell Watts. I am a Singer-Songwriter based is Salford/Manchester U.K.
I was born in Belgium and brought up with a classical music background. I moved to Manchester in 1998, drawn by the music and party scene. Always interested in travelling and multicultural influences, I built a recording studio and, taking influences from everything from Americana to Indie-Rock, I began work on my first Album "Out of the Blue" (released in 2012). 
The Album Featured musicians from Mozambique, Switzerland as well as England, Scotland and Wales, Out of the Blue is a deep, lush mix of influences which take the listener on a journey as varied as the people who made it. 
My second album "Colin & Ché" (released in 2015) was Produced and Co-Written by himself and my Brazilian friend Ché Costa. This album showed more of my Indie-Rock influences.
Currently, I am in the process of releasing singles from my third yet untitled Album. My second single “Higher than the sun” is out now on C.D Baby. This Album draws influences from the rich Manchester (Madchester) Indie-Rock, Alternative-Pop music scene. A music scene that I have always been a big fan of and that has shaped a big part of my life.

Cityscape Records is a long established kitchen table label which has been championing DIY pop from a Bolton terrace since ‘96.
