Techno Mix (level 1AA No. 9)

Brad is an ardent fan of good music. His eclectic taste combined with a compulsive tendency to acquire music has culminated in a substantial CD collection and (less satisfying to traditional collectors of tactile music collections) a steadily growing digital collection.  

In 2008, inspired by good friend @Nick-Grater, Brad decided to venture into the world of DJ-ing. Armed with two CDJ-100s and a Stanton Mixer he taught himself to mix psy-trance. He soon had his first gig at a @teknotribe-records party in Johannesburg, becoming one of the label's regular DJs for a number of years. He also played at various other outdoor and indoor events during that period.

These days, he puts together mixes of most genres of electronic music in his spare time (some of which have been posted here on Soundcloud) but has recently really started delving deep into Techno and Minimal/Deep Tech. 

Looking at Brad's collection of electronic music one would be forgiven to believe that he is a professional, requiring thousands of tracks at his fingertips for his numerous weekly sets and podcasts... alas that is not the case, he is just an ardent collector of music who needs to have the latest, newest tracks to include in his next mix. At least the mixes posted here will never be outdated..

Brad has recently started producing his own music, mainly techno and some more downtempo electronic tracks to begin with, but will no doubt soon develop a misguided and unwarranted confidence in his ability and will start experimenting with other genres. Some have been posted here for anyone magnanimous enough to give them a listen.
