Bio...

David McCann - 53 years young, a veteran of Adelaide and Sydney (Australia) live band, rave, club, electronic music and party scenes. 

Relocated from Adelaide to Sydney in 1995 with Adelaide/Sydney 90s rap, rock, techno, 6 piece live band - Bliss.

100s of live performances across Australia as keyboard player/songwriter, in dance/rock live bands, late 1980s - late 1990s, as hardware based producer, live performer 'DAMC' (rave, hardcore, techno, jungle, drum'n'bass) 1992 - 1998, and as 'TECHiONE' (funky, melodic, hard, tribal, techno) 1998 - 2005.

Bliss - Live band gigs, with/supporting: The Shamen (UK), Regurgitator, Skunkhour, Def-FX, Renegade Funk Train, Insurge, Sound Unlimited Posse, Caligula, D.I.G, SuperGroove, Swoop, Frenzal Rhomb and more.

Solo live performances as DAMC and TECHiONE at clubs/events with/supporting: DJ HMC, Misjah & Tim, Joey Beltram, Claude Young, CJ Bolland, Cru-L-T, Force Mass Motion, Lenny Dee, UltraSonic, Slipmat, Grooverider, Jeff Mills, Oliver Ho, Deetron, Richie Hawtin, Kevin Saunderson, Heiko Laux, Alexander Kowalski, Andreas Kauffelt and more.

Began vinyl DJing 1998. 

Presented Internet radio shows: 'TechFunked' 2000 - 2005, and 'decoded_' 2005 - 2007 with Pulseradio, mixing up fresh weekly techno, electro-clash, minimal, deep/tech-house sounds, as DJ TECHiONE later as DJ David McCann.

Various DJ gigs in Sydney 1999 - 2005, and a few in 2008.

2007 - 2016 took a step back from music producing/performing, DJing. Continued regularly attending, supporting Sydney techno/music club nights and events. Traveling and clubbing interstate & overseas in Europe.

One-off retro rave live performances as DAMC in 2013, 2014 and 2016 in Adelaide, at Flash Back II, Ultraworld NYE 2014, and Party With A Purpose II events.

2016 got inspired by new sounds in techno music, new friends, Sydney techno DJ Loveless (RIP), and starting doing the digital DJ thing, putting mixes together. Invites to DJ out began.

Passionate about a variety of underground techno music sounds: Deep, dark, atmospheric, brutal, heavy, twisted, minimal, broken, hard, light, beautiful, melodic, hypnotic - all depending on mood.

Loving the industrial, EBM, broken beats, heavy and dark atmospheres in modern techno music right now, still a fan of the rave. Not a fan of the new "hard techno" fast techno, tik-tok techno fad.

Product was born in 1980 and raised in Sydney, Australia. He discovered techno, house and breaks in a tight and exciting scene within Sydney at the age of 17. From his clubbing experience’s within infamous venues such as Tweekin @ Club 77 and Chinese Laundry, he ventured into djing and started hunting down techno records and got heavily into mixing. He would regularly party with friends and dj at house and adhoc parties.

During this phase a regular night was born in Sydney on Thursday’s - DecoDed. This night included local Guest’s and a fixed team of three good friends spinning into the late hours a variety of minimal/tech/electro tunes. As the years have passed he has begun producing through various method’s.

Product’s sound begun in a harder motion with influences such as Surgeon, Johannes Heil and Patrik Skoog featuring heavily in his dj box. As time has passed, as do scene’s, minimal and deep grooves have found their way onto his Traktor Scratch playlist’s. Artists of influence now would without doubt be Alex Smoke, Mathew Jonson & Joel Mull & label’s such as Der Hut, Sandwell District and Prologue.

In the summer of 2008 Bradley left his home of Sydney and arrived in Europe. Since then ventured through some of the most cutting edge electronic scenes in the world. Spending a lot of time in Berlin with friends, he has been able to incorporate new sounds into his set’s. Being exposed to epic club’s such as Berghain, Suicide circus, & Ritte Butzke engrains a true sense of love for the music, becoming more of a lifestyle than a hobby.

Product has a set up of Vinyl with Traktor scratch pro and a variety of controller’s for effect’s. Although not yet firmly established, Bradley has been invovled in a professional career as a critical care nurse specialist and only now is the music bubbling it’s way to the surface ahead of a busy career. After a solid 10yrs djing Product is ready to share his sound.
