As the sun set hazily over the NV mountains, I brought beats to Camp Granada for our daily happy hour. I built up my 2006 Jeep Wrangler into a mobile sound system with two JBL SRX 835P speakers. The system sounded great and it was a treat to play out on the playa. This mix attracted some beautiful people to our camp and we ended up spending all night with new friends.

It was my honor to be invited back to play another set at Beloved Festival, which has been my most favorite festival for a decade.  I was offered the highly coveted Sunday day set that has been held down by the likes of, OTT, Polish Ambassador, Opiuo, Sun:Monx and Random Rab.  

Before my set was the marriage proposal of my friends Ryan and Sarah Schnieder.  The scene was so touching that I actually forgot to record my set until about 8-10 minutes after I had started, so the beginning is not available.  Regardless, there is 68 minutes of the journey that was offered and co-created live with the dancers on the dancefloor.

Both sets I have played at Beloved are ones that will live in my memory and heart for my entire life.

The 50th episode of the Lushpod marks the beginning of a new decade and new tools.  This Lushpod was recorded on a new Pioneer mixer, and is intended to be heard in full stereo.  At almost 208 minutes long, this mix is the second longest Lushpod.  Thank you for all the listens and support, as I look forward to continuing this labor of love. April 2020 - Just Another Thursday Night - Live @ Homewood Headquarters

This happy house set was a collaboration of DJ Dane and Bisi livestreamed on August 30, 2020 on the slopes of Mt Tamalpais in Mill Valley, CA as a kick-off to (virtual) Burning Man 2020.

Dawn Diaries is inspired by the belief that the best way to start every day is with a celebration of the sun that shines through the darkness, our bodies that feel the warmth and the music that moves us. How we wake sets the tone for our day and how we live each day sets the tone for our lives.

To start our days in celebration with music and dancing has the power to transform us, unlocking the ever-present freedom, love and happiness that can easily be muted by our daily routine. My hope is that Dawn Diaries can be a part of this transformation.

Dawn Diaries are mini-mixes that go great with coffee, morning showers and getting ready for work. Solo or group dancing, bouncing, singing and smiling are all highly encouraged.

Now that these tracks have all been properly rinsed, it's time to share these amalgamations with you. This first installment goes back to 12/1/18, an opening for Bedouin at Club Vinyl, Denver. I recorded this session on Winter Solstice, 12/21/20, as the sun set and the convergence between Saturn and Jupiter became clear in the sky. I hope this journey finds you well along yours.
