1) What inspired you start making CEDM music?

1. What inspired me to make music in general was just my love for music as a creative medium. God used music to change my life and learn about Him. I want to express my story and my heart into some form of expression and music is the best way I can do that.

2) Who are your favorite musicians?

2. My favorite musicians... well my favorite band is Anberlin. That band led me to Christ. My favorite Electronic Artists are Porter Robinson, Madeon, Rameses B, Mitis, Haywyre, Mako, Uppermost, Subtact, Seven Lions, Grant, and Tom Day. There are many more but these are the first I can think of that really inspire me creatively and have kept me inspired since first getting interested in Electronic Music.

3) What is your favorite bible verse and why?

3. I'm actually not completely sure. I think Romans 8:28-29 has encouraged me a lot in some more difficult seasons recently. Reminding me that God is still with his children and will never leave us. All of Romans 8 actually has been helping me a lot.

4) Is there anything else you would like to share?

4. I hope that some of my music can help someone not feel alone. The world can be cruel and I just hope something I created can help someone in some way. I put a lot of my heart into my songs and a lot of them have personal back stories to them which I put briefly summarize in the descriptions.

Saturday Artist Spotlight 08/25/18; Bradley Funkhouser / Interview in Description!

This track is very personal to me. I worked many months on it to make it the best I possibly could. This was a gift to my girlfriend for our One Year anniversary. I got the main melody written right after she first went to school in another state. We just became long distance for the first time and it was very emotionally draining. This song is a reminder of the hope that eventually we would be back together. This song was also written in a worshipful attitude because I was very hopeful that God would make the best out of whatever outcome. Lastly, this song is a step into a more serious look at music, I never want to stop learning and progressing. This may not be the best song ever, some people may hate it, but it's personal to me and that's all music will be for me. Also, SHE LOVED IT!!!! <3

I never posted this. Brought back lots of memories. I love sampling. Really went for more of a 80's style hiphop beat with this, I love that kind of stuff. If you're an early Uppermost fan I think that's what mostly inspires this kind of thing

This all started as something I was writing after my Uncle died. Seeing how many of my relatives were facing this unexpected time. I was reflecting a lot on death, and how it affects many people. To those people I want them to know through this song that they can still have hope. God has a purpose and it will be okay.
