This is basic rompler epic choir used all over the 90s, especially in various metal genres that for some reason XV 5080 even having various choir waveforms lack of. I tried to make classic meaty patch that Korg M/N series are known for.
It has distinctive punch, which allows it to cut through the dense mix.
Similar choir used by Nightwish, Malmsteen etc.

Epic Choir

This is oldschool Kevin`s Moore solo lead type from Images and Words. It has that 80s tone captured very well. The patch sits between D50 and DW8000 lead tone with some of updates i wanted to add there to make it fresh. 
I added dynamic attack on filter section, also retrigger legato so if you hold one key and soloing it going into smooth sound, if you hit it harder and play faster it screams, making it very expressive and musical Lead tone. 
One of my favorite since i`m big fan of early Dream Theater.

High shelf on 10khz -2db to sweeten the high end, 5% of Waves H-Reverb and thats it.

LearnToLead

This is my take on 80s the most cheesy brass sound used in todays synthwave music. It has ton of character, full sounding on low notes with metallic saw brassy character, and sweeten top end on high notes.
Excuse me for my sloppy playing, i was improvising on the spot making tune out of inspiration of the most famous songs that comes to my mind.
I additionally added Arturia`s Jun-6 Chorus 28% and 10% of Waves H-Reverb and thats it.

80s Epic Brass

Rerecreation of 80s Poly sound that is somewhere between string and brass, used on JX-3P and similar. 
I tried to keep high end harmonics open as original synth is a lot of bright.
I only added 10% of Arturia Jun-6 Chorus, and 10% of Waves H-Reverb.
And as always forgive me for my extreme sloppy playing, i really just hit record and record without single practice.

JX - 3P Poly

This patch sits between CS80 and Prophet 5 Soft synth brass sound made to be warm, full and not too much high end open.
It took me 4 days of programming to hit the right spot where with soft playing it can be used in similar fashion to Toto`s Africa and with hitting higher to get into P5 territory.
10% of Gem Mod Chorus from Overloud in post processing to sweeten up tone additionally and thats it.

P5 Soft Brass

Deeply nostalgic patch that fits into synthwave genre nicely. It resemble to string machine, and brass synth but its not quite there in both sounds, becoming its own thing. Higher notes have nice deliberate high end bite. Reverb gives additional magic. 
No post processing.

Synthwave

Oberheim OB-Xa alike patch. Thick, full, also bright with lot of rich harmonic content.
No post processing except Soundtoys Little Plate at 19% and thats it.

Uploaded to demonstrate the differences between Behringer's Model D and Poly D. 

Similar performances are made here on the Model D and then the Poly D with identical settings - starting with the mixer levels around 7 and raising to 10, playing the filter cutoff and resonance, before bringing in headphone feedback. Additionally some play with the envelopes. bringing decay down from 600ms to 10ms (according to the panel)

Sequence comes from Arturia Keystep Pro via CV to the Model D and via MIDI to the Poly D. 
Audio was recorded into Roland Studio Capture 16. 
Oscillators 1, 2, and 4 are used on the Poly D only.
Both machines were tuned immediately prior to recording began but the audio had to be re-pitched by 20 cents in either direction after recording due to drift. 

The Poly D has significantly different gain-staging in the mixer and filter-VCA section which does not drive the filter as hard as the Model D. This in my opinion leads to a less authentic Model D sound, despite the obvious superior form-factor and other features. It's a shame because the Poly D could be the perfect Minimoog alternative, but the Behringer Model D clearly delivers the more authentic Minimoog sound characteristics.

Rd8 - BOSS BX-800 - UAFX Del-Verb

All multi tracked from a single Behringer K2. Have been listening to a lot Yazoo of late hence the vibe! Plugins are for the most part ableton stock, then Glow reverb and UAD tape on the master.

K2 has an envelope mod, to make it have a more usable envelope.

K2 - Synth Pop

Decided to see what the Quantum is like replicating (No Pun intended) the Bladerunner Lead Sound from Vangelis.  It just uses 2 Oscillators with my Arturia Polybrute Samples.
