The prevalent aesthetic of the San Diego scene is centered in deeper house and more minimal tech, elements that Dance Spirit whirled into a live environment in recording their album. "We went into the studio at the end of 2012 looking to write real songs, not club tracks," explains Mohn. "The first track we made was 'Waiting in the Light.' We sent that to Luca from Audiofly and he immediately asked for an album."

Some would be daunted by the challenge of a full album, but Dance Spirit snatched the opportunity. Chris explains, "He saw something that maybe we hadn't, but we're very conceptual artists, so it's almost easier for us to make an album than it is to make a single. We played a lot of the instruments on the record - Guitars, drums, keyboards…And we were listening to a lot of Pink Floyd."

Frank Deka is an Italian music producer and Dj, born in Cagliari 21st October 1998, since he was a child he has shown a deep passion for every music genre. At the age of 12, thanks to an electronic music program, he begins to create his first tracks. While growing up he starts playing at private parties and events, since he has turned 18, he has often played in many important and famous disco clubs in Sardinia, as: Ovest Club, Lido Disco Club ecc. He has already performed abroad as headliner in an important festival of Montenegro. Thanks to one of his release he was able to catch the attention of Marascia, one of the most relevant figure in the Italian Techno scene. In March 2017, Frank Deka, collaborates with Marascia releasing his track with a prestigious label named Saura, reaching 50th place worldwide. Some of his tracks are included in the playlists of some of the greatest Djs, as: Dusty Kid, Umek, Spartaque, Idden Empire, Citizen Kain ecc. His music is supported by: Dusty Kid, Arjun Vagale, Cristian Varela, Luigi Madonna, Joseph Capriati, Roberto Capuano, Markantonio, Umek, Spartaque, Hidden Empire ecc.

For the 37th edition of Rusted Rhythms, we have the honor of presenting a chilled-out mix of dela Moon’s finest blends and selections. Through the venerable role as an organizer of the Moontribe Collective, and a personal history stretching back through the recent decades of electronic music, dela’s touch behind the decks is as recognizable as it is infectious, and she left none of her talent on reserve for this dive through low-end psychedelia.

Brad was born a music lover. By high school he was DJing backyard parties in Long Beach and had already become addicted to the latest 12" vinyl releases. His love and passion for cutting edge electronic music has not abated since that time.

Now a veteran of the West Coast rave community since 1992, Brad continues to perform regularly in the U.S. and Canada. His interest in the environment, yoga, and his philosophical nature are conveyed in his musical choices. He can energize any crowd with his seamless mixing, whether in a warehouse, intimate club, or out in the open desert. Brad defies classification by experimenting with a variety of musical genres, often cutting between techno, minimal, tribal, progressive, acid house, and breaks. He blends many intricate soundscapes to create the flow and funkiness that is essential Brad. His eclectic mixes take the listener on a musical journey where time and space seem to disappear. Using the language of music to unite and celebrate the earth and humanity is Brad's goal. Brad has been a resident DJ with Southern California's legendary Moontribe Collective since 1996.
