My mix recorded live at Moontribe December 2021. I had a lot of awesome music saved up from the pandemic that I had patiently been waiting to drop in the desert, and this was my chance. Many of my favorite tunes from the last few years. I was a bitter cold night, but the music and fire kept us all warm. Set was played from 1030-midnight and the temperature was around 30 degrees. Definitely one of my favorite sets I've played. Moontribe dance floors are always special...

Like many friends, I'm missing Matthew Parkey from the physical world today.  

The soul of the desert, Matthew was always friendly and inclusive.  Always.  At a time when I felt I was told to be playing this way or that in the desert, he allowed me to be free.  At a time when I was not feeling included, he made me feel home.

His events, to me, were the first notable series of desert events outside of fmg.  They were not perfectly organized by any means but they were definitely organized with love by one of the most loving people I knew, and I think that's what stuck with most of us.  He was definitely a visionary, and in more recent years he spent much of his time making music.  

I always deal with pain and loss with music, so this evening I will release my set from one of Matthew's events, Beora, in Oct 2014.  I think it's my favorite set I played for him.

This set is a nighttime set despite the picture, one of the few sets I started with an ambient track but it's definitely techno from 2 minutes in

Rest in power Matthew Parkey, I wlll be looking for your light when I gaze up at the Moon and Stars <3

December 2019 Cold Moon. The last full moon and the last Moontribe FMG of the decade. This one was super special! Thank you to all of the dancers, revelers, 'organizers', DJs and volunteers that continue to make this life a reality. I have no words for the level of gratitude that I feel everyday for being a part of this community. Love and moonbeats to all of you forever!

Brad was born a music lover. By high school he was DJing backyard parties in Long Beach and had already become addicted to the latest 12" vinyl releases. His love and passion for cutting edge electronic music has not abated since that time.

Now a veteran of the West Coast rave community since 1992, Brad continues to perform regularly in the U.S. and Canada. His interest in the environment, yoga, and his philosophical nature are conveyed in his musical choices. He can energize any crowd with his seamless mixing, whether in a warehouse, intimate club, or out in the open desert. Brad defies classification by experimenting with a variety of musical genres, often cutting between techno, minimal, tribal, progressive, acid house, and breaks. He blends many intricate soundscapes to create the flow and funkiness that is essential Brad. His eclectic mixes take the listener on a musical journey where time and space seem to disappear. Using the language of music to unite and celebrate the earth and humanity is Brad's goal. Brad has been a resident DJ with Southern California's legendary Moontribe Collective since 1996.
