Chapter 3: Tent, Save, Recover and Prepare. (Ocean Town)

*Sometimes there's just no other way to put it, we need to rest and recover after a difficult time. Protect your peace.*

"Respite"

Eldric wakes up in extreme confusion, the blood slowly oozing from the deep wound on his chest, soaking the tattered bandage that had been hastily applied after a run in with a "DaisyBud." The pass had proven to be quite treachorous, but not unmanageable...
although that damn canine hybrid had almost torn his chest to shreds while he had been casting Regen. Eldric was battle proven, though. This had been his first solo venture without the rest of his order...but the 
pass was behind him now, and for that he was grateful.

The mage slowly stands up, wincing from the pain emanating from his bruised and bloody chest. He feared an infection. He had stopped to bandage his wound, but had passed out from exhaustion. If he was going to live to help
his friends, he would have to continue his search and find a place to recover. He steps back onto the path and continues his journey towards what appears to be a safe haven in the distance...the small town of Frost, a well known and beloved Ocean 
getaway in the kingdom of Evera. 

As he pushed towards the town over the next few hours, barely trudging along and dreaming of a bed to lay his head down on to sleep away the pain, Eldric couldn't help but wonder about the beast's tracks he had been
following...he had lost sight of them a few miles back, but the town was only a short distance away by comparison and hopefully would reveal what his next move should be.

Just before daybreak, Eldric arrives at Frost, a welcome sight...as he is approaching he recognizes a new member of his order waiting patiently outside the gate...the mysterious, yet kind white mage, Laurel. Eldric is about to be all caught up and fears what new information he is about to receive, although he can't seem to control the smile spreading across his face as he sees his new friend waiting for him.

Chapter 1: Moment of Clarity (Forest)

Finding himself stranded from the party after a ferocious beast sprung on them in the night, Eldric heads into the forest to search for his companions...
no matter the cost. He fears what he might face and wonders if he is up to the task...

Chapter 2: The Mountain Pass 

Seasons

Eldric stumbles out of the foliage, exhausted. His mind racing. How had he not found a single trace of his 
companions in the forest? Where had they gone? No sign of a struggle. No blood. Just some faded tracks of...well who knows what...

That beast that had attacked the party before this mess started...what was it? What did it want? It's powers weren't so easily countered. 
Fire is what paid the bills around here for Eldric...and it seemed to barely leave a scratch on the mangled monstrousity!

Thunder claps in the distance and a light rain starts to soak his battered robes as he surveys the scene ahead of the mysterious tracks. 
He has arrived at the  Rose Mountain Pass. If he doesn't press forward, his friends may be in grave danger. It's up to Eldric to confront 
his fears and weakness head on. He might not be as strong as the creatures of the pass, but he can certainly use his wits to keep his mind 
and body safe. He can't let his brothers and sisters in arms down. Eldric wipes his brow and steps into the mist...
