Starts off a big heavier sounding then my usual style, but finishes off happy and hopeful just like my attitude around this all. Meze's 12th release features four remixes from four producers, some new to Meze, and others with firmly attached ties to the label. Three tracks from Antennasia's EP (Meze 10) 'GEDF', Mr.Zirkus and Spiral Sequence are reworked with careful detail.
Brahj presents a treatment of 'Mr. Zirkus' flipping it into a funky dance floor friendly groove which loops San's vocals, adding an element of underlying attitude that was not present on the original.
Meze (and Motech) veteran Deviant delivers a haunting mix of 'GEDF' that retains the original dream-like quality of the original, yet, takes the composition in a whole other direction.
Limbo smoothes out 'Mr. Zirkus' into a sultry, rhythmic experience featuring San's original lyrics treated to sound like they are floating in via radio waves from another era.
Deroboter, a Chicago/Miami based DJ/Producer, re-creates 'Spiral Sequence' into a beat driven collage, all the while retaining the soul and feel of the original composition.

If there's one thing about Summertime mixes, is that you can never have enough of them. I decided to put this one together kinda last minute to give you all, my current version of a Summer jam. It's got a whack load of new tunes and a selection of older remixes I've been holding on to for years now..

I hope you all enjoy it, much more than I enjoyed making it hahah.. A lot of those tracks were really hard to blend together so i'm really happy with the outcome; for as always, it was handmade on two turntables and a mixer so the struggle was real. Thanks for the love ya'll
