Adam Reed, better known by his stage name Reedy, is an English rapper, producer and song writer. Reedy is often recognized by his distinct accent, bringing American tones into his voice to create something different but also commercial and enjoyable to listen to. He is also noted for his creative, meaningful and emotional lyrics.

Reedy started listening to rap music in 1999 when his young 10 year old ears caught a listen to Eminem’s ‘The Slim Shady LP’. Reedy was fascinated and from here started writing his own songs. Though at first not writing rap songs in particular, his writing talent became apparent. It wasn’t until a year later Reedy got really into rap music, with the release of ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’ Reedy became intrigued by what could be accomplished by a young white rapper. 
Although Reedy had songs under his belt at such a young age he did not know what to do with them. It wasn’t until 2005 he found a website that would allow his creative mind to build up his talent further, Brick City, a written freestyle competition website where you battle other members in written verses verbally dissing each other. Here Reedy learnt more about writing rap lyrics and started creating his own rap songs. 
In late 2005 Reedy finished school and started Media Studies at college. Although he was meant to be concentrating on aspects of film and photography, Reedy found himself looking more at the recording studios he stumbled upon in the college. After asking around he managed to get himself into one of these studios and started recording his first EP album, ‘Remember the Name EP’. 
After the summer of 2006 Reedy went back to college, this time to study something more him, Music Technology, the course allowed Reedy to have free studio time in the college studios he had become familiar with. While studying Reedy was also writing his second EP, titled ‘‘Cause of Karma’. He started recording the songs in January 2007 and finished recording in May the same year. The EP went live over the internet the following month. The album got good reviews for Reedy and got him some attention from bigger names in the underground (e.g. Rydem MC). This album’s response gave Reedy hope and made him push his music towards higher ground. 
Reedy carried on writing and recording a few songs between 2007 and 2008, including solos and collaborations, including a few with Rydem MC and others who were known in the underground at that time. Reedy had also planned on another EP release in May 2008 but unfortunately it never came. Reedy’s ambitions were being distracted by difficulties in his life which in August 2008 (Aged 19) led him to run away, all the way to the U.S.A. 
Reedy had a long distance relationship going on with a girl in America. He ran to her to the great Washington State in a little town called South Bend. Short of money Reedy had tout his dreams to the side for the moment, unfortunately Reedy didn’t know a moment would be 2 years.On September 22nd 2010 Reedy returned to the U.K. after his relationship came to an end due to differences. But for Reedy, this could have been the best outcome. Almost as soon as Reedy arrived back in England he put his ambitions back on and put music back in first place in his life. Reedy started writing again and started preparing himself to go at music hard. 
And that is where we are now. It is now 2013 and Reedy is ready to take over. He is aiming for the top and will not be distracted.
