BRAINGINEERS | Bom Shanka Music Series Ep. 80 | 24/05/2024

MoDem Festival‬ in Croatia is widely considered one of the best, and most important, festivals on the psytrance calendar. It’s influence on the festival scene cannot be understated. When I started making this music, I promised myself that, before I was 30, I wanted to play on the Hive stage. Well, 5 days before my 30th birthday, I had the honour of doing just that. It did not disappoint, and it was the best dancefloor I have ever had the privilege of experiencing.

I decided early on that this was where I was going to debut my new album (forthcoming soon on Bom Shanka Music) and record the entire set. So, here it is – the full video of my set on Thursday 8th August 13:30-15:00 on the Hive.

Thank you to everyone that danced, everyone that filmed and everyone that gave me emotional support in the stress of finishing the tracks before the gig! Transubtil Records presents JIVE with this set he played at Art Valley NYE 2025. Almost all the music, except one track, features Transubtil Records artists. Jive is the DJ project of Jai Royall, representing Transubtil Records. Launched in 2017, the project was developed as a tool to explore and deepen the understanding of the symbiosis between organic yet unearthly sonic textures and deep rhythmic structures. Jive is also the co-founder of Murky Collective and the event director of Swampy Conscience. Catch Jive creating forest portals up and around the eastern coast of Oz.

Welcome to Forestdelic Records series with DJ DAMZAH, a psychedelic trance DJ from Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina with over 20 years of experience, and a co-founder of the DJ association Inner Sunrise. In his DJ sets, he plays styles depending on the time he performs, ranging from deep, dark psytrance to Forest and a total groovy psychedelic sound.  In May 2012, he became the official DJ for Forestdelic Records. DaMzaH has performed throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and more.  In recent years, he has focused on releasing compilations: Branch Nutation (2015), Quantum Transitions (2016), Modicum (2018), Supernaut (2020), and Quantum Transitions Vol. 2 (2021), all signed under Forestdelic Records.  He is considered one of the initiators of psychedelic music and culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Brain Modul is a German psytrance project, also known under the Dj name MinatriX. Born in 1988 in a small village in West Germany, he found his way in 2006 through a friend to dj'ing electronic music on vinyl. Over the years, he has become increasingly interested in the psychedelic music genre. In 2017 he began to work on his own sounds! Thanks to patience and love for what he does today, he is more enthusiastic than ever to produce his own kinda of psychedelic music!
