The almighty DESOLAT return with a compilation that could kick any year into place thats for sure. The Düsseldorf based label have certainly set the pace for 15 by curating a wide range of acts for their VA series.

The release certainly covers some scope. Then again, what else would you expect from this widely praised and appreciated label? Yet it’s safe to safe that each of these tracks hold a hell of a lot of weight and certainly lead the way for most discerning dancefloors.

To comment and highlight some of the unmissables tracks from this release I would certainly have to start with Alexander Ivkovic’s ‘B70’. What a track indeed. Fast paced, deep, intelligent and impossible to ignore. ‘Believe In Something’ by Lewis Boardman is a classic deliverance of fine house music. ‘Octave’ by Santé is an impossible track to ignore without a doubt that could own any club. Then again, it’s hard to narrow anything down as they all a worth the money.

This label always manages to come up trumps. That’s why they are so highly praised around the world. They lead the way when it comes to making proper house and techno and they seem to do it with such ease, working with a trusted range of established and up and coming talent around. This is just more proof of that.

Here's the DJ set i played as Juanito Azul (@dj-juanito-azul) on October 18 2025 in the ecstatic dance event which was organised in collaboration with the Conscious Collective CY in Limassol, Cyprus.

Like all of my DJ sets, this one was compiled, played, and mixed in a specific key/musical note — in this case, the B note, which represents the Crown Chakra.

The info about the key of each of my ecstatic dance sets is revealed and can be discovered as part of the title - either as a word or in between or within the words.

This is a freestyle and colourful musical story through various rhythms and vibes, thoughts and feelings, forming a mental and physical ecstatic dance !

Aksemetrix is the musical project of Yuri Aksenov (Tyumen, Russia). With ten releases to his name spanning ambient, downtempo, psy-chill, and progressive, Yuri crafts his sound using both analog and digital synthesis, guitar, and harmonica.

Voice Of The Soul represents a harmonious fusion of cosmic ambient, lo-fi, and blues-infused guitar. It is full of experiments with unconventional rhythms, and field recordings capturing conversations and sounds of nature. Ethereal synth textures create a dreamy, translucent atmosphere. Meticulously crafted arrangements seamlessly blend warm bass lines, intricate arpeggios, acoustic guitar, and harmonica. The music of the album takes the listener away from the mundane into realms of beautiful, fantastical imagery.

It was a immense pleasure to play at Chillout Drops, hosted by ChilliBar! In this set I ventured into exploring the deeper, obscure, spacial, liquid, tribal, sensual and many other facets of dubstep and bass music, which was a new experience for me – although I love it, I don't usually play it pure (hence the many repeated artists! because it's an ongoing research ;), but I loved this late-night experience with a crowd enjoying and dancing in this cozy and welcoming space that was the Chillout! And a big up for the whole festival, which was built with so much care, down to the smallest details, great music from beginning to end.. You guys rocked!

Big thanks and respect to the incredible artists featured in this mix.
One love to Kudjo Gypsydelic for the connection, legend!
