"Never Odd or Even" - a palindromic mantra that perfectly encapsulates BMSS Records' holistic and now legendary approach to Psychedelic Trance.

Label head and chief pilot Boom Shankar presents the mind-altering conceptual double compilation project "Ailihphilia" (meaning a love for palindromes - words you can read forwards and backwards). Reflecting the label's dark/light dichotomy, LEVEL I is the "Moon side“, featuring a heavy psychedelic vibe; the forthcoming LEVEL II is the "Sun side“ featuring more trance-oriented anthems. 

Together they form a jaw-dropping 4-hour collection: one project, one journey, one narrative - a mirror of our souls, and a reflection of the deep psychedelic realms of the human psyche.

From the deep to the uplifting, old school to new school, EU sound to US sound, this monolithic trip spans every aspect of the Psychedelic Trance scene, and crucially gives the involved artists an opportunity to showcase the full spectrum of their sound by featuring several tracks within the project.

In this sense, Ailihphilia is a true reflection, a mirror, of BMSS' unique modus operandi - an approach that unifies both established artists and legends with new talents and up-and-coming artists, an international crew of producers, DJs and other misfits who fly in the face traditional sub-genre boundaries, focusing instead on true creativity and a profound dancefloor experience.

LEVEL I is constructed in a similarly mirrored fashion: building up and climaxing, before concluding in the smoothest of landings. After all, what goes up has to come down!

The ambitious project is wrapped-up with a similarly holistic approach and attention to detail. Micky Noise (aka Wizzy Noise) at Plus Six Mastering applies his trademark analogue techniques to ensure a consistent balance and maximum sonic impact. 

On the design front, Miro Moric aka Sketch inc. has delivered two unique custom-made covers which perfectly encapsulate the concept.

With Boom Shankar at the helm, BMSS Records once again push the boundaries of the Psychedelic Trance scene whilst firmly acknowledging its roots...an approach perfectly encapsulated by the palindromic mantra “Never Odd or Even".

Bio:
Leandro Nahuel Rios es un dj Argentino nacido en 1996 proveniente de la ciudad Avellaneda, Buenos Aires.
Inició su carrera como dj en el año 2016 bajo el nombre de "Stream", el cual estaba enfocado en el Psytrance Progresivo.
En el 2018, comienza su proyecto llamado "Artificial Entities" ya dejando un poco más de lado el Progressive y más enfocado en el Psytrance & Full-On, siendo esto lo que le abriría las puertas más tarde a ser parte del staff de la productora nacional "Argenpsy", de la cual hoy es fundador y administrador del Podcast semanal de la misma.. En la actualidad ya participó de varios ciclos tales como Mystic, BeatSide, Dancing Budhas, Tranceported, Element, Poweryet, New Road entre otros. Esta última presentación provocó el interes de la productora de Argenpsy, logrando así, ser parte del staff. A mediados del 2019 decide abandonar la productora Argenpsy, para crear su propia productora llamada Midnight Productions junto a Marina a.k.a Mentalism, Alexis a.k.a vlex y Damian a.k.a Karmalogic. Hasta la fecha, ya ha tenido la oportunidad de compartir cabina con grandes artista de la escena internacional y nacional tales como Basscannon, Red Sun, Geronimo, Apollo, Bassmite, Killerbass, The Last, Morsei, Nobody, Abat, Sequence, Nax, Aktyum, Vlex entre otros.

Sylvain Cornut aka Brain Driver discovered electronic music in 1995 when he attended his first rave in the south of France. He was immediately attracted to this world and after attending many more parties, he bought his first turntables in 1997. He performed at many free parties and nightclubs and in 2001 decided to try his hand at creating his own tracks under various pseudonyms.

In 2004 he attended his first psytrance party, which was a true musical shock for him, and to this day this music and its raw power have definitely changed his life. 
In 2006, he felt the call to create psytrance and Brain Driver was born. Since then he has played at numerous parties alongside great artists such as Talamasca, Absolum, Phatmatix, Hyper Frequencies, Geko, Freeze, Artsense, Double R.E.L, Highko, Laughing Buddha, Dick Trevor, Funky Dragon, Illiuchina , Biokinetix to name a few.

He has over the years released various tracks with the likes of Fractal Records, Dropland Recordings, Hadra Records, Terrorlab Industries, Nexus Media, Kaos Krew Records, Mechanik Records, Phonix Records and more... 

2015 saw the release of Sleepless Patterns Part 1 on Fractal Records – the first part of his album which is to be released over a period of time on 3 separate digital E.P’s and thereafter as a full CD album. 

2016 promises to be an exciting year with the release of Sleepless Patterns Part 2, a versus EP and various remixes and single tracks planned.

Brain Driver is an experienced and talented artist who is guaranteed to please the hearts and minds of any dance floor.
