Metasonic is the psychedelic DJ project of Sidney van Dyk. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa now living in Bangkok, Thailand.

Since first being exposed to psychedelic trance music and culture in 2009 he fell head over heals in love with both.

He believes that the psychedelic trance journey at it's roots is one of the most liberating and freeing experiences one can have. Be it progressive day-time to Full-on night time to Darkpsy etc, etc, etc and all the myriad of genres in between. The journey it takes you within your own consciousness and who you are after experiencing this journey of sound and self is what made him fall in love. 

Hence the name, Metasonic(meta - after / sonic - sound) is a tribute to that place in all of us that we reach after being taken on a psychedelic sound journey.

His vision for this project is to bring about journey sets to take the listener to that special place inside themselves.

Dribble, born on May 15, 1993, is a live act psychedelic trance producer from Syria based in the US. Being a part of the well-known progressive metal band, Animate Experience since 2007, he produced, wrote, and played throughout the underground metal scene in Dubai. He started experimenting with diverse music styles in the ever-evolving underground scene, which has given him the ability to blend the intricacy of studio production processes with the immediacy of engaging live performances. 

The first Psychedelic Trance bug bite was on the beaches of Goa at the all mighty dance temple, Shiva Valley, in the early years of 2014. Ever since, he has been on a quest to produce a myriad of sounds for the strong-hearted listener. Dribble’s production incorporates heavy polyrhythmic pattern leads, an eerie ambiance driven by a consistent bass-line. His intention is to access more reviving, rejuvenating and serene states of mind simply by listening, meditating, and being in unison with the natural rhythm of the breath, allowing the body to release stagnant energy. 

Dribble creates a hypnotic experience as linguistic abilities fail and the only viable communication method becomes dancing.
