Mystique of the Sonic Tonic | 148 - 152 BPM

American forest producer based out of Los Angeles, CA, Feelionics is the main project of Riley Legaspi.  A long time raver, slightly seasoned DJ, and now a complete slave to the world of music production, Feelionics has gone darker, faster, and more chaotic with each track completed and each EP released.

Taking initial lessons for uplifting trance back in the day, he realized very quickly that melodies and fairly formulaic production styles were not what he wanted to focus on.  Instead, Feelionics focuses on using forest, dark psy, and hitech as a mediums to express himself, taking elements of past trauma, relationship woes, and his pussycats (they're actually dogs) as inspiration to paint the ever-changing landscape that is life on Earth.  Between groovy basslines, abnormal percussion patterns, dark and mesmerizing atmospheres, and of course, crazy leads playing tag with 13 other elements, a complete live set from Feelionics is nothing short of absolute madness.

So far, he thinks this route of essentially making dark nursery rhymes played in reverse as a proper route towards true musical expression.  Then again, you can be the judge of that.  He looks forward to building his audience, and with it, a steady flow of people that just simply love going crazies to music with him.

SLEEPLESS mix set by DJ SEBASTIAN KOS

Weirdos is the duo of Italian producers: Aztec Dosage and Leso. The name came from the idea of being surrounded and involved by many individuals, from all over the world, with different cultures but with one common goal: to share the love for psytrance and all the weirdness within. In the end, we are all weirdos in our own way. The project has drawn from various musical influences, merging deep dark sounds with hitech beats. They hold the forest vibe adding some groovy energy, heavy leads and compulsive sound editing. Weirdos have ears for music and hearth for dance. At the end of 2019 they were signed by Parvati Records. Listen to their exclusively weird set for radiOzora.

When modern science extended the reach of its observation to the galaxies above and the microbes below, it made a surprising discovery: an atom proved strikingly similar to a solar system. Both were comprised of particles kept in orbit by the gravity of an energetic core. Modern technology had reiterated the wisdom of the ancients, who coined the very same discovery in the adage: As Above So Below.

The adage is traditionally attributed to the Emerald Tablets of Hermes Trismegistus. Nevertheless, all subsequent teachings that explained man and his role in the universe acknowledged this truth. Knowledge is universal. What one learns benefits all. Universal knowledge is also timeless, and what is learned in one age benefits all others.

As Above So Below is often expressed alongside its synonym, As Within So Without. Teachings that expressed these instructions claimed it was impossible to study the universe without studying man, and conversely that it was impossible to study man without studying the universe. They stressed that, to study either man or the universe, one had to study both. This is one reason why ancient texts almost always dwell on both mankind and the universe alike. They rarely exclude one or the other.

In this In Focus edition we’re presenting a Swiss psy-duo, Oli & Pat, and their Rugrats project. Check out their interview on Ozorian Prophet!

The Project Rugrats was created by Oli & Pat around 2013.
The start is already in the childhood with saxophone, piano, and Guitar they laid the foundation for the musical career.
Fast they became a name (at the time under the name “Doppelpack”) with their groovy tunes and pumping basslines in the regional club and outdoor scene and play at some nice Events like Cosmic Circus Festival, Sundaze Festival, Optic Revolution Festival, Flying Mystic and All Stars Gathering.
Next to producing and djing they compiled a VA called: Escaping Reality.

The Groove Brothers are a funkedelic-groove band founded by Raffael, Oli & Pat (aka. Jumpstreet and Rugrats) in 2018.
During long jam-sessions patching cables and turning synth knobs their styles merged into a new one and they agreed to develop this project further.
In the beginning of 2019, lost somewhere in india, they finally released their first EP as Jumpstreet and Rugrats called "Vs. Aliens" with Looney Moon Records.
Their style is fresh and raw. Everchanging groovy bassline patterns with razorsharp leads on top make sure no dancefloor can stand still when they perform.
