Er wollte eigentlich nie DJ werden und trotzdem ist er da irgendwie rein gerutscht – unzählige Stunden in Berliner Bars und Clubs; hier mal eine CD für Freunde zusammen gestellt; da mal einen Resident DJ kennen gelernt. So wurde er 2004 in den Sog der aufstrebenden elektronischen Musikszene der Hauptstadt hineingezogen und mit Freigetränken hinter ein DJ-Pult gelockt. Heute, fast anderthalb Jahrzehnte und über 100 bespielte Locations in Berlin später, schaut Hannes auf eine abwechslungsreiche DJ-Karriere zurück. Sein Hauptprojekt, welches durch Hingabe und Ehrgeiz aufblühen konnte, prägt ihn musikalisch ebenso intensiv wie sein Alter Ego Cotumo: mit dem er sich, was Clubs angeht, im Sisyphos zuhause und angekommen fühlt. Cotumos Set beim Opening 2018 in der Hammahalle scheint einigen in Erinnerung geblieben zu sein. Es zeigt ein großes Feingefühl dafür, technoide Klänge mit Emotionen zu verbinden und die Hörerschaft so Teil des Erlebnisses werden zu lassen.
