Face à l’hégémonie du récit national majoritaire, l’écriture autobiographique représente un outil puissant pour sauver les vécus des populations issues de l’immigration postcoloniale de l’oubli. Telle est la démarche de l’autrice, comédienne et ex-championne de boxe Aya Cissoko dans son triptyque littéraire composé de « Danbé » (co-écrit avec Marie Desplechin, éd. Calmann-Lévy, 2011), « N’ba » (éd. Calmann-Lévy, 2016) et « Au nom de tous les tiens » (éd. Seuil, 2022). Dans ces ouvrages, elle propose une relecture du parcours de sa mère, de sa fille et d’elle-même à travers une analyse des angles morts de l’Histoire française.

Dans quelle mesure l’écriture autobiographique peut-elle permettre de mieux saisir les conséquences du racisme institutionnel ? Comment appréhender sa colère dans une société aussi inégalitaire, qui ne cesse de bafouer la dignité des plus démuni·es ? Qu’est-ce que révèle l’intérêt des médias pour les parcours “méritants” des personnes issues de l’immigration ?

Aya Cissoko est l’invitée de Rokhaya Diallo et Grace Ly pour évoquer ces questions dans ce nouvel épisode. En s’emparant de ses propres tragédies familiales par l’écriture, l’autrice cherche à rendre compte des répétitions de l’Histoire, ainsi que du coût mental du racisme. Un témoignage des violences institutionnelles à travers des histoires individuelles.
