〈作品解説〉 
スペイン語で「冬のガーデン」と名付けられた本作は、大自然の中へと引っ越しをしたフェデリコの新しい（音楽の）環境を表しており、壮大な凍てつく大きな家の中にスタジオをこしらえ、変わりゆく景色を背景に創作に取り組んだ。そして、全ての楽曲にはその情景を現す、自然にまつわるタイトルが付けられている。本作の特色は、その場の空気感を捉えるために、僅かなサウンド・パレット（カセットやオルゴール、シンセなど）を机の上に並べ、１回のテイクによって全て録音されており、後ほどの編集やミックスも行われていない。そうして大自然の中で放たれた雪の結晶のような小さな音の連なりは、ひんやりとした空気の中へと消えてゆき、本人が語るようにアルバム全体に山の中の古い家の魂が宿っている。マスタリングはフェデリコとの共演経験も持つ畠山地平氏。

Coming in mid September is an absolutely lovely, pastorally infused, first album from Enofa (Ross Baker), entitled, “Arboretum”. Ross had released a collaborative album with us a few years back under the name, Middlemarch. His partner on that “Wolf Hall” release, Dimitris Avramidis, also contributes to this new effort as well.

For Ross, nature, and the inspiration derived from walking among the trees in the park and nature preserve near his home, plays a large part in the overall tone of this one long beautiful track. Like the Arboreta, which are regularly crafted to contain a range of contrasting shapes and colours, which gives them a very unique look and atmosphere,  this wondrous soundscape of sorts, incorporating field recordings, moody guitars and synth, and electronic treatments perfectly reflects the calming and mysterious feel of the long and languid  glorious English days of the moment. Wind chimes…the crackle of leaves underfoot….the light, swirling wind in the treetops…the sun breaking through the clouds…put this album on and you will find yourself strolling there as well!

TRS078 will come in two very limited, physical versions. The first, deluxe handmade version comes in an edition of just 50 copies. Each of these comes in the form of a collaged, stamped and hand worked vintage art deco, tri-fold photo folder, w/original photograph. Within each are collaged, vintage arboreal prints, dried leaves, and other arboreal ephemera. Each folder is extensively hand artified, and comes strung with a stamped tag made from an antique British cigarette card. Each comes with an attached, stamped black envelope containing a factory pressed CD, held on with an obi strip.

There is also a hand made standard version of Arboretum in an edition of 50 copies. These come in hand worked and altered, black digipaks, also with factory pressed discs.

A wonderfully immersive suite of five stunning new tracks, ‘Shifts’ expands upon Swedish-Iranian pianist / composer Shida Shahabi’s debut album and confirms her as a genuine new force in contemporary piano music.

Without radically departing from the ‘Homes’ blueprint, this time around her pallette is expanded, with the opening three tracks seeing the prominent addition of cello, intertwining with piano to provide a powerfully emotive sweep and drone. These parts were provided by Linnea Olsson, who Shida calls "an old musician friend of mine and without a doubt the best cellist I know in Sweden.”

Recorded by Shida and Elias Krantz, the record was mixed by Hampus Norén and mastered at Calyx by Francesco Donadello (Jóhann Jóhannsson, Modeselektor & Thom Yorke, A winged Victory for the Sullen, Dustin O'Halloran, Lubomyr Melnyk, Hauchka, etc).

This is a piano solo piece inspired by situation of isolation due to coronavirus outbreak that is being taken globally. The melody of this piano song fluctuates between sweet and bitter, fear, calmness and uncertainty. It is tender but harmful at the same time.

Hello everyone, I would like to show you my new album "Pereehali". This is my third album, it was written and recorded in the summer of 2012. After a long writer's block that was caused by a very pretentious and bombastic second album I decided to make a really intimate, solo-piano work. I lived in the countryside during the recording sessions, and every recording was done by me tête-à-tête with my lovely piano in the wooden house. It was a priceless experience working and writing while having a close contact with nature, it helped me a lot to understand the music I compose, to make it more organic, touching and moving.
