"Nebel lang" (german) is the mix of "fog" and "lifelong", which turns metaphorically into "lifelong uncertainty".
As the name implies, it is an exploration of the concept of time and the unforeseen. The organic, the living, the changes.
The Nebel lang sound is based on environmental piano improvisations.

As a 6th edition, following the Piano Day, an annual worldwide event, created by Nils Frahm in 2015, ECU label is launching its very first Various and physical CD release with enlisted help from outstanding contemporary classical and electronic music artists, as a close team!

The 88 Notes reflects the piano in its diversity and allows artists from different styles and backgrounds to connect and celebrate the piano together. I decided to take a short break from the sad piano vortex & moved north into the Flemish countryside & recorded a drone record. 
Although initially inspired by a recurring dream wherein “if someone listened to the music I created, then they would die.” 
I would like to acknowledge the barbiturate from the album title as both muse and sacred escape: 
“When you are sitting face forward on the daily emotional meat grinder of life, I always wished I could have some, 
so I could just fall asleep automatically and the feeling would not be there anymore.”
