Bern-based producer Chewlie steps up on Ghosttown's first release of '25, delivering two deep diving compositions for GTEP05. The Swiss artist and one half of "streikthrough" is known for her sonically versatile approach to production displays a transcendentally harmonious, while powerful and rhythmic soundscape over two tracks.

“Inevitably We Fell” welcomes you with warm melodies and a playful take on broken bassweight, developing a fine-tuned drive, while maintaining a tender strength. “Woods Treating Me” takes the listener even deeper into an eerie atmosphere. Chopped up kicks and the gnarly designed sounds of the night lure you into a mysterious pleasure for mind and body.

With Rizla Ops & Aitch contributing each one Remix to GTEP05 in their personal style, the extra portion of punchy treats ensures this project to offer an intriguing balance of dancefloor experimentalism.

Out in the countryside there was a sense of ethereal peace and quiet which was hard to find amidst the towering buildings and the densely populated city from which he came. He watched as the trees blew sofftly in the breeze as the rain began to fall from the ominous grey clouds which hung low overhead. Some might be bothered by the sombre weather and the bleak lay of the land but he was not - it reflected the tone of voice which ran through his head. He let out a scream which echoed in the valley and set him free. 

Liam Robertson is set to release an EP on Redstone Press, a record label from Scotland which originated in the Highlands and is now based in Glasgow. The EP is forward thinking and channels elements of city soundscapes and the wild which lies beyond. One to watch.
