The second drop in Philth’s new series features a back-cat classic being brought bang up to date by next-generation talent Creatures. His tunes have been a staple of Philth sets for years and when he asked to remix his favourite track on the label it was the perfect moment to give Addiction a fresh look and introduce a new artist to the label. 

The melancholy chords and haunting vocals of Addiction sit atop a clean minimal frame as Creatures delivers his trademark precision to the drums and finds the perfect sweet spot where deep vibes meet dark rolling energy. Addiction remix provides a moment of contemplation and depth to the dancefloor but with the bass weight to get any crowd moving.

Julian Rhodes is a Colombian producer and DJ known for his soulful and groovy taste, blending various influences across a wide spectrum of genres like Deep House, Organic House, Breakbeat, UK Garage, 2step, Drum n Bass, among others. He has released music on multiple labels and performed in renowned clubs in Colombia and Germany.

In addition to his experience in the House Music sub genres and four-on-the-floor music, Julian has started making music as Beyond Me, an exiting project that celebrates Drum n Bass' most vibrant and melodic side. With fast beats and powerful basslines, it combines joyful atmospheres with vocals and melodies influenced by Jazz, Funk, Disco, R&B, Soul, Reggae and more.
