Hey everyone! I got a really good response to the Super Mario Bros. 2 cover posted so I decided to do another song in a similar vein! This one is actually way more detailed though! To explain as shortly as possible, the original version of King Dedede's theme was in a different key and was only about half as long as every version from Super Star onward, which featured an entire second section before the loop. I've thought for a while about covering that original key version but then adding that second part, so that's exactly what I did! In addition, I added some DPCM and two extra channels with the MMC5 (along with loooots of effects) which I think overall really makes this sound pretty cool! This kickass 3/4-time version of Dedede's theme is from the remake of "Kirby no Kirakira Kizzu,"  which would be "Kirby's Super Star Stacker" if it were released outside of Japan. The original Kirby's Star Stacker got an international release, but I don't think the remake did...?

This one is more laid-back than most of my other work.  I love the music in this game since it manages to be epic without going over-the-top.  I think in addition to Guitar Pro 6, I used the "Timbres of Heaven", "Mysung Kite" and "DSK" soundfonts for synth and orchestral tracks.
