Drum dialogue between two tribes. The first tribe is patrolling to guard his space. Suddenly a second tribe is appearing. The first tribe is aggressive and tries to defend his place. But the second tribe has no bad intention and is way more friendly than the first one. At the end they are both cool with each other and celebrate together.

Two warring tribes accidentally met on neutral ground. They try to communicate, mistrusting each other, and gradually start a dialog. And suddenly during this dialogue in each of the tribes most of the people begin to feel mutual attraction to someone from the opposite tribe.  Do they need to keep warring or?..;)

This is my entry for #FullContactCompetition by Orchestral Tools and Tom Holkenborg. All drums used are only from Full Contact Competition library.

This is a recording of a mug full of water and two sticks of chalk. Chalk has a loud natural reaction when placed in water as the air escapes and bubbles out. Recorded with an Aquarian Audio Hydrophone and a Crank Sturgeon plasti-dipped contact mic inside the mug in the water and a Lom Geofon suctioned onto the outside of the mug. No overdubbing or Fx.

Small Forest Road Nosie

An old road connecting a town and a village is embraced by the forest. They only go riding and cycling on the road where there are no cars at all! 
Here I randomly placed the LOM BasicUcho pair of microphones on the land and started recording. You could hear some human and city noise in the background! But the flies are more talkative. Slovákia. Taken near the village of Hamuliakovo.

This is my first ever self written metal song. Together with the band Reinforced, sadly they fell apart after this recording.
It's a death metal song about a battle gone wrong. someone challenged the wrong god, slept with the wrong nymph etc. etc.
overall it's an nice song to listen to when you're feeling angry.
I don't grunt on this track by the way.

6th place Native Instruments competition 

"as a (Film/Media) Composer & Sound-Designer i'm always interested in different "genre's" of music.The music has to tell a story. I made this composition as a school assignment(I studied composition for the media at the University of arts in Holland) It's had to be a composition inspired by Thomas Newman. Because of all the "fake news"and more restrictions, we face today, it feels to me, we are living in a lie. The amazing "think for yourself question authority"quote by Timothy Leary opened my eyes when i was 17 years old. When i think about life it sometimes feels like i'm floating away on a bed of emotions and feel something that unites us all. The compositions starts as a small dream evolving into a reality.Waking up and not knowing where you are but at the same time you smell the unique scents from the middle east or the far east. Are you in a Dream or is this the beginning of a new chapter in your life?? It's all very philosophical but this is the best way to describe this composition.The real story is told by the composition itself.
