"‘Island’ is the story of my attempts to swim away from my island and trying to break through the  surge. I fail, and wake up in a state of amnesia every time with my face stuck to the sand.  Forgotten that I was trying to leave. It’s as if my ratio is trying to keep me from finding new  perspectives to kee me on safe, known soil.
