The Genie is a performing artist and guitar innovator from San Francisco. Sponsored by the Line6 production company in 2008, he is the creator of a live-looping method called ‘scratch guitar’ as well as a unique brand of live-remixing called ‘g-mixing'. Bringing together a hybrid of genres, he utilizes unconventional slide techniques while manipulating knobs on his pedals with his toes. 



Musically and lyrically blessed, inspired by the sounds of the natural world, golden age Hip Hop Funky Folk and conscious culture as some of the sources of inspiration has brought a sense of purpose to the words and tones used in the music making process of this luminous being.

TKDJS is the artist project of Scott & Paul.  They met at the Central Park zoo late one Thursday night in September.  Their bond was forged in a NYPD cruiser on the way back to the precinct. They've been making music together ever since.
