Music is a place of contentment for Artist/Producer/Songwriter/Multi-Instrumentalist Brandon Collins. The origins of which are almost a dream today. Collins recalls first feeling the potency of music during late nights in his uncle Darrell’s basement when he was young. A rag-tag crew of musicians (including his mother vocalist Denise Collins) would appear sporadically in the basement, improvising jazz, blues and soul until early hours in the morning, showing Collins a new side to expression. 

Raised in Columbia, Mo., Collins has a mid-western heart with a global mission.  He has traveled all over the country sharing his passion for music, and fundamentally, his love for people. After a successful stint as a background vocalist in New Orleans with The Earl Turner Show and recent shows in Los Angeles with fellow musicians, Brandon has returned home to present his solo album, This Little Space. 

This Little Space tells the story of finding a personal sanctuary – a space to reflect, to give and receive grace, and to look ahead. The album blurs the line between pain and joy, revealing a point in Collins’ life where there is only room to give thanks. 

This solo endeavor is his most ambitious project yet. Collins spent years as a producer and songwriter, lending an occasional vocal to his work. Recent Credits: Chris Hatfield’s Album: Born To Love You, Don't Lose That Number+Can't Help It+Picture(Producer/Songwriter), Ameir Smith’s Make No Mistake+Come & See (Producer), Ebony Phaire's Save Me - Remix (Producer). and Andy Tellman's You Are Loved.  This Little Space reveals Collins’ talent of commanding the lead vocal. Musically, there is nothing claustrophobic on This Little Space. Cascading horn sections, pulsing beats, and mountainous harmonies make the record a breath of fresh air in an industry of monotony. But Collins’ most intimate work is not actually about him – it’s about us. It’s about the hope that we have, the blessings that we have received, and the grace we all need.
