The Gib mir den Bass EP from Michi Mueller is a "must-have" on the upcoming open-air and festival season. The Original Mix is a deep house track with an powerful saxo melody, chasing vocal and a driving beat. Melodic breakdowns and a pensive hook are the reasoning behind the title of the Bonus Track Love Yeah, a track that emits sunshine and solstice with every lasting note. The EP also comes with nice remixes by George Whyman and Same Same. This talented german producers got their own style and use it perfectly on the Original.

I wanted to make a Podcast, which would fit into a BBQ on a sunny day. Some tunes, that a are not to hard and not to soft. This kind of stuff, that is made for a lot of people, but didn't find the way into the radio. Just music to relax to with a steak and a Beer.

"As I am moving to Amsterdam in January, this will be the last mix I make in Maastricht. With some healthy reluctance I will leave the city in which my interest in Deep House related music started 2 years ago, but I am curious what Amsterdam will bring me :). I could not resist to put in some tracks which refer to the fact that I am moving, but most and foremost the mix contains tracks I like and I think you will as well :). It's been a long time since the last BBQ Sounds.
A lot of things did chance for me, i moved back to berlin. I had some great releases, including my debut album. I started to take dance-lessons again. I got my heart broken, i got drunk a few times. I started to work on a new place, i changed my style of music, started the podcast-series "Peace Peter", together with a good friend and a lot more.
And now i really want to give you some of this energy i collected.
